  1. This is my first time so it got frustrating for sure, but I'm not in hurry, I'll take my time to get it right, after all I've got spare crank I can use instead of this one. When welding you use tig welder right? Sent from my ONEPLUS A3000 using Tapatalk
  2. Yup,spent almost an hour yesterday trying to get it within 0.05mm, got flywheel side right but having trouble with clutch side. Will try again next week, when I get some free time and kids are not bugging me every 2 seconds and I can focus a bit more. Sent from my ONEPLUS A3000 using Tapatalk
  3. How much is the porting anyway, roughly Sent from my ONEPLUS A3000 using Tapatalk
  4. I did and for something that did over 400 hrs, it's really tight. I was expecting to be fairly worn. Sent from my ONEPLUS A3000 using Tapatalk
  5. How many hours can you get out of stock crankshaft on stock motor? Just wondering as I'm in the middle of engine rebuild. Sent from my ONEPLUS A3000 using Tapatalk

  10. Makes sense, can you give me the link where can I get it from? I was thinking of getting skf as I can get it from work trough supplier but if koyo is better, I rather go that way. Sent from my ONEPLUS A3000 using Tapatalk
  11. I would lift up the front and check everything, ball joints tie roads and bearings as well, also would take wheels from one side off and measure the distance between front and back axle. Sent from my ONEPLUS A3000 using Tapatalk
  12. What about Reed valves, cold be shot Sent from my ONEPLUS A3000 using Tapatalk
  13. Interesting,so you are having a miss fire for some reason Sent from my ONEPLUS A3000 using Tapatalk
  14. Just wondering what type of crankshaft bearings do you guys run? I'm in the middle of bottom and top end rebuild so the crankshaft needs to be done to but I'm not sure should I stick with genuine bearings or should I switch to Spherical Roller bearings... Sent from my ONEPLUS A3000 using Tapatalk
  15. I believe he fixed the issue Sent from my ONEPLUS A3000 using Tapatalk
  16. OK, found out what caused it - improvised flywheel puller lol Sent from my ONEPLUS A3000 using Tapatalk
  17. Don't listen to me, I'm overreacting cause I just yesterday, found out my crank is fucked and it shuttered my dreams of riding the bike next week. So it's probably just something unimportant. Sent from my ONEPLUS A3000 using Tapatalk
  18. Sorry guys, got a bit rusty in those 3 years of not using hq and to be honest never used tapatalk until yesterday so a bit slow there too [emoji16] Sent from my ONEPLUS A3000 using Tapatalk
  19. Mate I would open it up from the top and inspect what is going on with the pistons and cylinders, might be even crankshaft... Is the noise coming from front of the motor or back(trans), if you can feel it? Sent from my ONEPLUS A3000 using Tapatalk
  20. Is this still available and if so, how much would it be to be shipped to Clarkson 6030, Western Australia? Sent from my ONEPLUS A3000 using Tapatalk
  21. Hi guys, didn't post or follow for a while but now here I am, crying lol Yesterday I finally started taking banshee apart due to low compression and not running well but as it was sitting for last 4 years I thought just a fresh top end and new water pump will do it but... Oh boy was I wrong. When you look from front, left cylinder is cracked at the intake (not a big deal as I've got new jugs) and right side crankshaft pulled apart for good 2mm. It doesn't bothers me to fix it but what troubles me is what caused it. Today I will pull the bottom end apart and take better pictures. Sent from my ONEPLUS A3000 using Tapatalk
  22. Nope but is the compression same on both sides?
  23. Did you try new fuel, did you check the spark plugs, vacuum leaks? There is quite few things you should check before you get the new pair of rings.
  24. Compression tester might be broken, does it show same compression on both cylinders?
