hi guys im looking for 06 Banshee clutch perch lever & parking brake, anyone selling it?

Most of them are self bathing but Yfz450r has dry sump way of lubrication. You are telling me all I already know,I still cant see the point of arguing about this with you because I see u know "few" things about engines but I know few things too. Btw I newer said they are the same,i just said they are simillar, they have the same moving parts and they have the same function and thats about it. Why are you making sudha big deal from it?
-
i think he was talking about crankshaft noise so i said i had the similar problem on my yfz450r so why would u on earth bring up differences between 4 strokes and 2 strokes and their setups. and again no matter is it 2 stroke or 4 stroke crankshaf does the same job on both of them. correct me if im wrong.
-
It is different but not much, still piston is a piston and crankshaft is the crankshaft no matter is it 2 stroke or 4 stroke.
-
The same thing happened to me on yfz450r,ended up getting new crankcase, new crankshaft, cylinder and piston because pieces of bearing fuked it all up. Didnt even have time to take it for a spin and damn thing went appart =/

Im in the simmilar situation as u were, changing my job and going appretiship, and I decided not to sell it,im gonna sell the car. I don't need 15000 dollars car when 5000 dolla car will do the same job. Went riding yesterday and there is no way im selling the banshee, the sound of it heals me

in different countries the same fuel gets different octane rating so i recommend u to click on the link below and read it carefully before doing anything http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Octane_rating

I found this, and thought it might be usefull. Formula #1 - Toluene R+M/2.........114 Cost...........$2.50/gal Mixtures with 92 Octane Premium 10%...........94.2 Octane 20%...........96.4 Octane 30%...........98.6 Octane Notes: Common ingredient in Octane Boosters in a can. 12-16 ounces will only raise octane 2-3 *points*, i.e. from 92 to 92.3. Often costs $3-5 for 12-16 ounces, when it can be purchased for less than $3/gal at chemical supply houses or paint stores. Formula #2 - Xylene R+M/2.........117 Cost...........$2.75/gal Mixtures with 92 Octane Premium 10%...........94.5 Octane 20%...........97.0 Octane 30%...........99.5 Octane Notes: Similar to Toluene. 12-16 ounces will only raise octane 2-3 *points*, i.e. from 92 to 92.3. Usually mixed with Toluene and advertised as *race formula*. Formula #3 - Methyl-tertiary-butyl-ether (MTBE) R+M/2.........118 Cost...........$3.50/gal Mixtures with 92 Octane Premium 10%...........94.6 Octane 20%...........97.2 Octane 30%...........99.8 Octane Notes: Oxygenate. Very common in octane booster products. Has lower BTU content than toluene or xylene, but oxygenate effect makes the gasoline burn better and produce more energy. Formula #4 - Methanol or Ethanol R+M/2.........101 Cost...........$0.60 - $1.75/gal Mixtures with 92 Octane Premium 10%...........94.3 Octane (Methanol) 10%...........94.7 Octane (Ethanol) 20%...........Not Recommended Notes: Methanol is wood alcohol. Ethanol is grain alcohol and found in Gasohol in 10% ratios. Both alcohols are mildly corrosive and will eat gas tank linings, rubber and aluminum if used in excessive ratios. Main ingredient in "Gas Dryers", combine with water. Formula #5 - Isopropyl Alcohol and Tertiary Butyl Alcohol R+M/2.........101 Cost...........$0.60-$1.50/gal Mixtures with 92 Octane Premium 10%...........94.5 Octane 20%...........Not Recommended 30%...........Not Recommended Notes: Similar to Methanol/Ethanol. Isopropyl Alcohol is simply rubbing alcohol. Sample Mixture To make your own octane booster, it is easiest to make up a large batch, and then bottle it up in "dosage-size" uses. Below is the basic formula of one of the popular octane booster products. To make eight 16 ounce bottles (128 oz = 1 gal): 100 oz of toluene for octane boost 25 oz of mineral spirits (cleaning agent) 3 oz of transmission fluid (lubricating agent) This product is advertised as "octane booster with cleaning agent *and* lubricating agent!". Diesel fuel or kerosene can be substituted for mineral spirits and light turbine oil can be substituted for transmission fluid. Color can be added with petroleum dyes.

after seeing this im definitely staying stock, after all i dont even need bike more quicker than i already have. anyway i barely know how to ride -
What a doggy cunt!!! No wonder y people in my country call that kind of cops dogs. Thats all im gonna say
-
i see,u r right about that,they r using it as a carb cleaner too
-
just read few articles about octane boosters and 90% of them use kerosine as a base in the mix with toluene, xylene or Methyl-tertiary-butyl-ether what a rip offfffffffffff!!!!!! here is the page with DIY octane boosters: http://www.clubwrx.net/forums/engine-modifications/44006-homemade-octane-booster-formulas.html
-
one of my jack ass friends said that u can use a bit of kerosine in the fuel mixture as an octane booster,he supported his theory telling me that kerosine is the same as petroleum which is actually diesel fuel but with less additives. mentioning the diesel he got me to think its possible but because i have poor knowing of chemistry i decided to ask u did anyone heard any similar stories?
-
But b4 stator I would check all wire connections
-
I would heck flywheel as well as stator for rust. Its not gonna work well if it has some rust on it.
-
cbf starting a new topic so ill ask u here, which pilot jets r going with 280 mains? i asking because my shee is kind of hard to start and compression is 120 in both cylls.
-
part it out or not to part it out?
booxzzy replied to bracketracer's topic in General Banshee Discussion
fix it proper way and u will have proper bike or sell it and buy running bike for more money than repair costs which can blow any moment anyway
