  1. are these specials only good for a couple more days ?
  2. wanting a unshaved stocker with foam and pan and latch in half decent shape
  3. Santa you should sell me that seat
  4. Maybe float3 for Another machine would have the c-c length I need
  5. Is there not various lengths to choose from? I checked fox site but it doesn't say much about that stuff
  6. I'll be in the market for suspension on a sand drager with +10 rear arm in a few weeks. Is float3 the least expensive fox setup that would work ?
  7. Is fox normally 2x more than shaws?
  8. Yep that's what happens
  9. There's a pic on the first page that shows what your asking
  10. what may of happened is you put the piston to 80* atdc and drew the line. on small engines the width of the pencil mark can be 1* so you end up going 1* to high . depending on the stroke of the engine im dealing with i stop half to one degree short to account for the pencil width
  11. if cylinders are same height, using same gasket, all bolts torqued same, degree wheel set deads nuts, you shouldnt have any discrepencies unless you grinded beyond the pencil marks. most people fail because they dont pay attention to the things i just listed
  12. according to skatrak roll out is the circumference of the carcas only, at 15psi.
  13. yes maybe hes the smart one and people buying a basket from him are stupid
  14. i wonder how many of these chariot baskets minkia has sold for $189 when you can get it from chariot for $169. minkia doesnt seem like a very sharp feller http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-Chariot-Billet-aftermarket-YAMAHA-Banshee-aluminum-CLUTCH-basket-cushions-/272029998266?hash=item3f56405cba:g:N-IAAOSwwbdWO2Bo&vxp=mtr http://www.ebay.com/itm/Chariot-Clutch-Basket-Banshee-Hard-Anodized-4130-plate-7-or-8-plate-Cushions-/281833872477?hash=item419e9b9c5d:g:vn8AAOSwYHxWJlQr&vxp=mtr
  15. pretty cool how the dime sticks. magic tricks FTW if you dont mind my .02 im not sure those boyesens will be all that affective since theyre nearly paralell with the wall, atleast thats how they appear in the photo. heres what i believe will happen, if you had a hallway with a room at the end, and 2 open doorways near the end of the hall which connect to the big room and big fan pulling extremely fast moving air through the hall. in laymen terms i think the air will simply pass right by the doors as if they werent there. this is just what i believe will happen so dont take it the wrong way. these boyesens seem to be half decent http://bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?/topic/183954-4mil-complete-top-end-drag-ported-stock-cylinders-domes-pistons/page-1
  16. Normally I'm against giving people a hard time but even without a ounce of mechanic aptitude wouldn't common sense kick in and guide the way. Used complete oem switch is $8 on ebay ffs
  17. Hopefully you never have to figure out how to change a sparkplug
  18. Ported with plate FTW
  19. I'll probly be doing cryo on a gear box soon. Won't be doing any coatings though
  20. I think the bridge should be fine. They were only 5-7mm wide on the KTM stuff and did ok
  21. I never had much luck with flat roofs. Tried it on a Honda and chewed the rings pretty fast. On my 4mil everything is mostly opposite of what Tom describes so it'll be interesting to see how it turns out. That post from Tom is over 10yrs old. I wonder if he would still recommend the same specs or maybe times have changed
  22. I don't see anything wrong with the look or air tools but you have to be careful about raising ports that high or strange things can happen as many of us have found out. Normally I recommend starting off with them a bit lower but everyone needs to see for their self
  23. His specs were to make the exh that shape or was that your own idea ? I have a feeling he may have only gave you a small bit of info and not the whole book. Look man I was just saying don't cry if they're door stoppers. Wasn't trying to be a dick. It's just part of the business. Call it School of hard knocks if you will
  24. Finish up and try em out. Just don't be suprised if they're not all that and a bag of chips. Anyone in this business has scrap cylinders I can a sure you of that, unless they copied a known good port but where's the challenge in copying
