I pull choke all way out and whack throttle once. only go to about 1/4 though.

Yeah Larry's Shee is right but mine for instance had a problem with the float valve that keeps the float around half way so it drips out of overflow. That doesnt effect how mine runs at all.

Double check all connections and grouds you may of knocked somthing loose.

Did you test your coil? Did you test your stator? Did you check the pickup on the flywheel? Is the Key switch on? Try new plug caps?

Pull of the head. I think you had an air leak from putting carbs back on incorrectly and melted your pistons.
