  1. thats the same power i am trying to make. i am using stock cyliders. my top end and bottom end might have 8hrs on it so i am going to try and reuse my piston and maybe rings. i dont want to loose all my bottom end so i will probably go with dune port and inframe cpi's unless the agressive dune port wont be a big noticeable loss of bottom end. i still like to trail ride and climb dirt hills so i need some bottom end.
  2. i have a cool head with 21cc domes right now. do i need to get my domes sent off to be cut? my compression is at 160 each cylinder. do i have to have the cases cut or is that just for 7mil and up?
  3. what all needs to be done to the motor for a 4mill? i dont want to run the base plate for it because i have heard thats not the right way too do it. i have to split the case because the seal went bad on the right side and smoking bad out of the right side. a guy i know said he will trade me a vito's 4mill crank for my weisco crank. will 28mm keihin pwk flatslides be big enough? i plan on getting a dune port or agressive dune port for it. thanks for any help

  5. its ran the right way. there is no binding or anything. i will try some lube.
  6. i have been riding for 20yrs and know its not supposed to be this stiff. i know the springs are stiffer in these than the stock ones. i am just looking for a way too make it easier. i have had the carbs apart 20x's and the slides are fine and there chrome.

  11. my shee had a twist throttle on it when i got it and i put the thumb throttle on it and it is stiff. how can i make it easier to push? it has keihin 28mm pwk's on it and i think the springs in them are too stiff.

  14. I have a couple buddies selling there 4strokes. Both are LT R's and they have around 30k in them. They can be bought for around 7k. One of them has never seen dirt and the other is set up for Mx with houser and fox full floats.
  15. Ltr 's are known for breaking gears, 04-05 trx450r's are known for a bad batch of crank bearings because they changed bearing company's right before the 05's. The yfz's are a good platform but are very uncomfortable. My 2 picks would be the yfz or trx. The other ones are slow except the Ltr after alot of mods. My 04 450r beat all of them no problem. Honestly I wish I wouldn't have traded it off for the banshee because I beat the shit out of it and it never missed a beat and I have worked on the banshee alot more than I have rode because of all the bugs from the previous owner. Lol
