  1. That's why I asked in here. DMCs jetting specs aren't for everyone.
  2. Hi, I installed DMC 916s on my shee. What size jet would I need? I ride in the mountains in Australia at between 3400ft to 4000ft and the weather is usually between 10C (50F) - 20C (68F). I have a stock airbox closed lid (thinking about drilling holes in it) and will be soon getting the Pro Design Pro-Flow foam air filter. Do I only change main jet or others also?
  3. Bump!!
  4. How much in total for shipping to Sydney, australia?
  5. I ride on trails so they're is usually water/puddles. Is this powerlid ok if there is water splashing on it?
  6. As a metal fabricator I was thinking that vibration shouldn't really be a problem for the welds. I ended up making my own hangers for the silencer bracket.
  7. Thanks guys. Btw what is msc?
  8. I was also after the flange. How much do you want for the filter?
  9. I think I will just fabricate a new mount for the light. With the leak, is it a big loss in power? The rubber connector/clamp tightens on the stinger good but doesnt tighten on the header the best. Would a smaller clamp do the trick or would I need a whole new rubber connector?
  10. If anyone has one new or used please reply in here or pm me. Thanks
  11. What I did with the light mount is just out it upside down for now. I can fab one up since I'm a metal fabricator but out of curiosity does the muffler bracket reach the holes cause when I try to move the muffler to the holes but the stingers push up against the frame a lot. I think I have the older style dmc 916. Am I doing something wrong? Here is a picture of the silencer And here is a picture of how I put the tail light.
  12. K thanks guys
  13. I just installed the dmc 916s. A few questions: 1. I used the stock stinger rubber connector and it tightens over the stinger properly but it doesn't tighten properly over the pipe (if you know why I mean). I started the bike and the usual smoke you see at cold start out of silencers, I seen a bit coming out of where the stingers connects to the pipe. Would that be a problem? 2. Where you connect the mid pipe to the silencer there are nuts and washers. Do the washers go with the nuts or between the mid pipe and silencer? 3. The silencer doesn't screw on because my rear light stops it from reaching the holes for the screws. Is the silencer meant to sit lower or do I have to move the light?
  14. specialblend07 is a great seller!! The best communication, the packaging was great (bubble wrapped every item separately and tightly and also put papers between each piece). I live in Australia and it arrived in 3 business days also the shipping price was very good. If you ever deal with this guy you'll be glad you did.
  15. Nah I didn't. Found it on google. Looks like it photoshopped. Though I did take this shot. Pretty shit shot though lol
  16. My mate just tried disconnecting the tors. He said before he disconnected tors it would turn off at idle but when he disconnected tors it was even quicker to turn off while idling and still backfires and bogs out.
  17. Here is a photo of it http://i1161.photobucket.com/albums/q507/uf24/89e6be6e.jpg
  18. Hi, My cousin has a banshee and he flipped it last weekend and it still ran fine all day. Brought it home and hasn't tried to start it till today and when he tried today it wouldn't start. He changed the spark plugs. Tried roll starting with clutch and removed the tors brain (little white clip to the left side of frame under fuel tank. Is that the right wire?) and it still wouldn't start. EDIT: one other thing today he accidentally hit the black box under the seat between the air box and rear light. The box cracked. What does that box do? What could be the problem?
  19. Where's is the tors cable located? I can just disconnect cable to check if it is the tors right?
  20. Ah ok. Do I have to re-adjust or mess around with the carb slides/tors when removing and putting the carb back on?
  21. Could there be a chance that the new spark plugs were fouled?
  22. A mate of mine fell of his banshee and the shee rolled into its side. After he rolled it, it would run ok for a bit but a lot of times when in 6th gear and sometimes in other gears while ridig it would just turn off and sometimes while revving it at idle it would make a popping noise, it also took much more kicks to get it started. He changed his spark plugs but still doing the same thing. What could be the problem?
  23. Posting this for a mate. If anyone has a set of chrome toomey t5's pm me please.
