  1. EDIT: looked like my left carb slide lifted higher than centre when looking through carb window.
  2. I had a look at my carb windows yesterday and it looked like mylifted slidelifted higher than centre. Does the idle screws on the tors lift/lower the slides or do I have to do it from the knob/cable on top of the carb?
  3. Why so expensive? Pipes on ebay from usa only charge 130 shipping to aus.
  4. Zip/postcode is 2141 and state is NSW
  5. Also what are you asking for the pipes without shipping?
  6. What would you be charging for shipping?
  7. kk thanks guys you've all been a lot of help.
  8. Also about the oil. 20:1 ratio is recommended by yamaha(in the book) for specific brands of oil. From memory one of those oils were Castrol R30.
  9. I also own a 2011 banshee and my guess about why it's hard to start and blowing a lot of smoke is because you need new spark plugs. I changed my spark plugs on the weekend and it's started first kIck and smoke cleared up in seconds where as before I changed them it took like 6-10 kicks to start and was blowing a lot of smoke.
  10. Ah k ill give it a try, though should I try disconnect the tors cable first and if that doesn't work re-connect tors cable and then adjust the idle?
  11. Not yet So all that will happen is it wont run at peak performance and am i right in saying that I can try to adjust it by eye/ear until I do it properly? Here's the thing though. I bought it brand new 3-4 months ago and it was running perfectly fine . If it really is the idle thats the problem, how could the idle setting have changed on its own?
  12. Ah k thanks for info. Though if the carbs aren't getting exactly the same amount of air will that cause other issues/problems?
  13. If I do turn those screws to adjust idle how will I know if the carbs are getting equal amount of air? Also a Side note. I changed the spark plugs today and it is revving much cleaner and with much less smoking coming out of exhaust on cold startup.
  14. It will idle but it just sounds like the idle is too low. If I take off that plug is there any chance of anything else messing up on it?
  15. Also if I don't remove tors will I be able to adjust idle?
  16. Though I'm just wondering if the actual problem is that the idle is too low cause the banshee is only 2 months old. Could it be something else like the plugs? Cause I have changed the spark plugs to the same type that was in it already.
  17. I'm new to atvs do I don't know what a tor is. I haven't messed with the bike at all cause I don't know much about them.
  18. Hi. This is my first banshee and my first post on this forum. My banshee runs fine when riding but if I let it idle it will always turn off. It would idle for a few second an then turn off. It sounds like the idle is too low. Though the thing is when I bought it 2 months ago it never use to do that. What could be the issue and how can I fix it? Could it be the spark plugs?
