  4. [Ya they tried to say in another post that you could use to base gaskets if you ran a 4mm stroker crank. fixitrod I thought i remembered that name i havent been on here in awhile buy it looks like you joined the same day i did. Good to see some of the same people is still on here Looks like my posts number started over. oh well i get to be a no nothing newbie again. Hehe he wierd everyone on this post except the top to joined on the same day.
  5. Hey we sell flush mount valve stems for this very mod on ebay. If they are not listed email Rob at [email protected] and he can hook you up with some i think a whole set is like 20 some odd dollars. Tell him Joe set you. he may even give you a better deal than our ebay listing. Later
  6. I think i am in the why catagory also Havent heard that one yet. but sounds like another one of those redneck roadside repairs that wallrat spoke of Let us know how it goes
  7. That is funny I like it. "redneck roadside repair" It has been along time since i have been on here, poor banshee hasnt seen much action out there in the garage for the last 2 or 3 years, but i am happy to say i am getting excited about it again and i knew exactly where to come for the right info. This is without a doubt the best damn banshee i sight i have seen. Of course you will always have your people that like to argue. Hell i like to argue too., but i help when i can and get help when i ask and that is what makes this site work. I noticed my posts started back at zero oh well I am a rookie again. Oh i also wanted to thank everyone that has spoken highly about us and our bolt kits and flush mount valve stems, and if anyone wants custome stickers we now have a 2foot vinyle cutter. Just email Rob at [email protected] and he will give you a hell of a deal. thanks Joe
  8. Hey thanks I know about the 795 thing and the cut domes. I am just trying to figure out if it would be cheaper to get a crank and a piston kit or get the whole kit from this guy for around $600. That is for everything crank pistons pin bearings gaskets. Only bad thing is the crank isnt welded , but i think i can have that done for around $45 I know Recreation Unlimited used to have the whole kit for 139.95 maybe 149.95 there at the last shipped and that was the cheapest i had found anywhere. How much would it be for a set of 65mm 795's with pinbearings gaskets and all?
  9. You can take it apart in half a day easy. Would just depend on how fast you could get it sandblasted and powder coated. Maybe a day to put it back together if you didnt know to much about it
  10. A think a buddy of mine had a bad crank seal and was leaking tranny fluid into the crank area. Maybe I would definetly take a look at the plugs first.
  11. Wow i realy dont think name calling is necessary, but if it makes you feel better go for it. Guess if he wanted to go with a 10mm longrod then maybe he could just use like 5 base gaskets. hmmmmm
  12. Well it has been awhile since i have looked in a Dirtwheels or had to buy a top end kit. I know i used to buy all my top end kits from Recreation Unlimited cause they where the cheapest and their kits included the wrist pin bearings, but now i don't see em in the mag or cant find them online. Did they go out of business and if so where is the best place to get a complete top end kit? I am thinking about putting together a 4mm stroker longrod motor probably need 65mm pistons. thanks
  13. damn!!!!! what would someone give for a Mammoth with a Sirio .27 monster big block and carbon fiber shock towers and extras? I am wanting a 4mm longrod stroker kit. Any takers?
  14. do you still have this kicker? I may have some rims will have to look? What is the black lable rating for douglas again?
  15. PAY ATTENTION he is selling jugs and pistons. there are no rods he never put this on his bike. So therefore it is possible to make these pistons and jugs into a 420 kit if you use the right crank set up. He stated that he did not know much about it so give him a break. He was told it was a 420 kit, but we all know you cant actually give a cc designation to a set of cylinders and pistons. You obviously need a stroke in the equation somewhere to come up with a cc.
  16. SOLD If you still have them i want them. I need them I have the rears already just need the fronts. Also do the lugs come with em. Let me know [email protected]
  17. Yeah i am thinking it should be like a 130 unless its like mine then it should be about 230
  18. I am sure you meant a 4mm stroker setup and not a longrod setup right? Because you can run a longrod crank without a spacer plate or cut domes because the wrist pin height is diffrent in the pistons. However if you are running a 4mm stroker crank with a 5mm longrod setup without a spacer plate or cut domes i would be curious to see the kind of squish that would create. (As long as it wanst tested on one of my motors that is.) Now in my thinking i guess it would be possible to run a 4mm stroker crank with stock length rods and 795 pistons, but i dont believe it would be very impresive. Does that sound right?

  20. actually i got a cheap crank of ebay that had the lower bearings out. Sice TDR rebuilds the whole thing anyway I figured i would keep my good stock crank as a back up. I was very satisfied with it. A buddy had a new hot rod crank and the tdr was visualy a smoother running crank. They where both out of the motor. They build them better than new. I liked TDR cause you can give them a call and they will actually return your calls. that is my opinion for what it is worth. ohya i forgot the price I believe it was 300 or 350
  21. Just tell him to get some hella 500's and some 35watt h3 bulbs. That way they will work with a stock stator and look alot better with more light.
  22. TDR (Tony Dukas Racing) This guy will put together what ever kind of crank you want. Had him build me a long rod crank. Better than new or those hotrod cranks in my opinion
