  1. I got some b8es plugs wit blue letters and a r. Will it hurt to run them? I am aware the boots have restance already built in.
  2. Yea there good and lined up. Is it a specialty balance machine or will one for a automobile work? I have acess to a plain one at the dealership.
  3. Put new tires bk on stock wheels. Problem got way better but still noticeable. It's bout got to be all tires now. Next time it's warm enough to ride I'm Gona jack it up and try to cut off the high spots.
  4. I will try all that as soon as I get a chance. And yea those rims seem to not be sutch a good idea for this machine the more I research. That's prolly why I got them so cheap. Thanks to all for the opinions and suggestions.
  5. Mine has been cracked since I have had it. No fluids leaking I haven't worried about it. What's under there anyway?
  6. I don't mean it will run 80 in fifth. I just can't get out of 5th without shaking. No fix a flat. New bearings axel rims and tires. Only thing not new is the hubs. I am running itp ss wheels which are way heavier than stock but hopefully they aren't a prob. U can see tires running out of round when run on jack
  7. I would like some proven tires that will handle this speed without shaking me to death. Bought some sodona bazookas and they start shaking violently before 6th gear.
  8. What style lug nuts are to be used with itp ss wheels? Dealer says tapered itp says flat not sure
  9. Most likely compressor leaking is what I see the most of out of those models. And the dealers compressor is not worth a dam. I have to get replacement compressors from oriellys. Ours leak. I've been workin for Chrysler for 10 years
  10. I believe y'all 100 percent but just curious what breaks on the flywheels? I'm just wantin to replace mine because at one time it got water in that side and rusted everything pretty good but still runs fine. I just worry about it on long rides cause pick up coil bracket is almost rusted in half
  11. Seen that brand on eBay and wondered if they are any good. If not what do u guys recommend? Would also like to upgrade wattage to where lights stay brighter. Thanks in advance
  12. I read on a older post that I can take engine off and side covers and only take bottom half of case up to install crank seals and leave cylinders together Does anybody know if that's possible?
  13. Yea one step up for fattys. Come to think of it my stator side got a lot of water because a dirt dobber nest stopped my vent hole tho motor and when I washed it water ran down tho into stator cover and rusted all that pretty good. Bet that rutted my crank seal and I dread splitting cases
  14. No I haven't yet. Just got new caps but it was just so they would match. One was stock one Honda
  15. It's strange it's like the closer I get carbs in sync the worse the problem becomes. Will check for air leaks on opposite side tho.
  16. Ever since I had my banshee (3 years now) it has smoked more from right side. Before I rebuilt it I figured it was because it was the weak side as far as compression goes. After rebuild it still did and now have added pipes jets and reeds filter etc. still does. It's runs great always has but it drives me crazy for that much more smoke on right side. Never used a drop of transmission oil by the way
  17. I just wanted to update I can now whoop that 450. Traded the polaris predator I bought to ride while I was rebuilding banshee for a cr 250. Yep he got smoked. Ha

  20. I just put my wallet up from rebuilding. Lol but yea I figured to smoke him both ways it would hafta b more that a stock motor with bolt ons. Wish I woulda had some kind of porting done while I had my cylinders sent off being bored.
  21. My friend who is a good fifty pounds lighter got a dirt bike. And yes it is fast no doubt. I can't touch him on take off but after bout 4th gear I catch him and pass him cause he outta gears. He is geared down 2 in the back and 1 on front sprocket. I'm afraid when he puts stock gearing on that's gona b my ass!
  22. Does anyone know of a kit for all the fasteners for the stator and the pick up coil. Stock or better than Philips head. Mine are in terrible shape.
  23. Update all my stuff came in and pulled her back down and put it on. Holy shit what a difference ! Anyway first run was with air box lid on no snorkel. Ran strong and really great. Second run put snorkel on with lid and it stumbled up hight so with it off I think I'm about rite. May even have to vent box when it gets in the 90 degee weather this summer. And still going to do a plug reading to b sure. Thanks to all for advice dam this thing is runnin great!
  24. Thanks for the advice. Have ran about a tank tho it and it runs well but as I mentioned its all stock everything just like it was from Yamaha. I ordered the v4s waiting on them to come in and going to do everything at once. And I am planning on running wit lid on airbox and hopefully it will be close. May remove snorkel if it acts like it will handle it. And do have 27.5 now to install and 280 mains.
  25. After gettin mixed replies I think I'm just going to put all stock everything back on it to break in engine and worry about changing everything else at a later date. And that way I know it won't be too lean during break in and ill know how much power just a fresh engine has before I start adding other stuff.then I can see how much pipes jets reeds and filter actually help.
