Dyno Sheet for a single carb setup
BansheeJen replied to sredish's topic in General Banshee Discussion
My dad still has his dyno sheet from his shee with the 35 carb on it. -
Hehe that would be funny. The WPD cant do shyt no ways if you aint in the road. Now the lady that owns the lot and lives behind it in the brick house might get pissed if she saw ya, but she is deaf (literally) so I dont think she'd know it. At least the weather is getting better for biking now. I used to ride out by your house all the time and make a big loop around town. The first couple days sucked but it was all good after that, and you'll feel better at that first race for it too. Which house is your out there? I may seing by but I have some mowing to do first. Figure out the arrangements for going to the race yet? You can do your membership at the race. I would email and pick out a number though since you ordered number plates and get the bike numbered up before hand. It went smoother than running around looking for electrical tape and pie plates like some people. You can email him and ask to reserve a number and then when you make the first race you are locked in with the number so no one else can get it. They will reserve it for you luckily. They held mine for a couple of months thank goodness. I'll sling some sand for ya this weekend!

So Scott are you going to make the XC race on the 11th and 12th? I would have to say I dont think ive seen a 700 at the races yet. But there may have been a couple. I dont always get to watch all the races as people come by. Dad rode one at the shop the other and said it has gobs of torque in stock trim. Raced a couple at Aledo and they are hella fast with the right stuff done to them. Got a pic of the new 05 one and it looked sweet with the special coloring but its durability could be an issue like mentioned above. Just dont let it flip over on ya, it'd be like picking up a Goldwing or something. The new Z is supposed to be a late addition in the spring of 05 supposedly with the new upped displacement. They race em GNCC events and do excellent in their class. MSRP not too bad I guess @ $6500. Let me know if you go to price one, I'll see if I can talk to the guy I bought mine from and let him know you are coming and HOT to buy

Havent seen much info yet but I got an email about some of the participants coming this year. "Got a call from Don Clifton today. Don is,or was, the silent partner at the Annual Hallet Goldrush. Seems that the five time, and by this race, six time GNCC champion, Bill Ballance, his brother Brandon Ballance, and Jason Raines, will be joining us for this years event. This is your chance at the BIG boys, don't miss this opportunity. The buddy race will be on the first Saturday in November, and the big race on Sunday. We all need to thank Hallet Motor Speedway, and Sandtrax for making this happen

Nice to know that so many people are going to Sandfest. I'm glad im going the weekend before for Labor day. I'm sure it will still be crowded but maybe a few will hold out and go to Sandfest instead.

Local dealer should keep an assortment. Or check through their Parts Unlimited catalog and go into the fuel intake section. There is a section in there that you can buy a five pack of jets, you pick the range I believe and I got mine for 14-15 bucks. I think the catalog lists at 20+ though. Depends on how tight you are with the parts guy at your local shop. www.sudco.com is another carb place too. Watch the shipping with some of these places though, they'll stick with no courtesy yamalube before hand.

That Helo maxx is bad ass! That's what you need right there.

D no way in the world. A or C pretty much the same just added another hole. The simulated rings look sweet on big 4x4 trucks like yours. Thinking of buying a set for my dads 4x4. I looked at these also: http://www.discounttiredirect.com/direct/f...=004646&yr=1993 http://www.discounttiredirect.com/direct/f...=004646&yr=1993 Most of Eagles wheels are polished and not clear coated anymore. Means lots of maintenance. When I got my last set of polished wheels chromed I swore I'd never buy another set as long as I live. Chrome or mirror machined finish only. Last thing I learned about wheels buy what you want the first time, dont settle because of price or you'll never be happy and end up spending the money to buy what you wanted to start with.

So what's wrong with the Explorer. Glad you've seen the light on the Chevy though. Need to get you some tires and a skid plate for the scooter so we can go play some more! -
Dude that does truly suck! How long has she been sitting for you guys? I'd wait till she has the baby and then send the wife over there to curb stomp her real good. I hate dam thieves, dirt bags that steal what I work hard for. Too bad we're not like some countries and cut off the hand of a thief, lets see her write a check then! Good luck and hope you get some justice out of it. Man have you seen the cool temps forcasted for the weekend Scott! Looks awesome if the rain doesnt prevail.

Dont know since dad is out of riding for a while. might try my other buddy that just bought a 450 and see. Otherwise i'll go ride by myself for a couple hours each day and come home. I'll either be in my dads grey chevy with blue enclosed trailer or in my pewter Jimmy with small flatbed trailer. Look me up if you decide to come out for a while. -

Well unlike most of the people I ride with I like to leave early and ride while the heat is still tolerable. Takes about 45-1 hr to get there. As long as I can find someone to put my new seat cover on, i'm going regardless. This is still going to be a slow going weekend for me getting the bike broke in. I'm just trying to get a couple of hours ride time on the bike to get used to it. If you decide to go or anyone else does that reads this here's some directions. Take 377 north towards Sherwood Shores. Follow 377 until you end up in Madill. 377 will make a right hand sweeper turn and take you to a red light that T's into the main road going through Madill. At the light turn left. Follow through town until you see the turn off for HWY 70 that goes left, you'll pass Pizza Hut and Sonic on your right before you get to where you turn onto HWY 70. Not sure how far mileage wise but once you come to where the traffic turns two lane both ways you are close. You will see a little store sitting all by itself called RICKS PLACE on the left, turn left there. Follow the road around the side and it will take you to the entrance. -

Mid June was old ladies birthday here. I decided that if I was going to buy one that I wanted to take it to the dunes in August. If I was going to do that then I was going to have to buy it soon, so I ran out and bought one about 3 weeks ago. I just about finished the graphics install tonight, and i'll drop the seatcover off tomorrow and get it put on. Finish up the graphics when I get home and play around in the lot next to the house. Love it so far though. Definitely different than riding the shee though. I'll probably end up at Lake Murray most of the weekend. It's close, i know my way around pretty well, and there isnt much out there that I cant get myself out of. Plus a buddy of mine is going to pick up his new YFZ tomorrow so I thought i'd see if he wanted to go. It should be just about broke in at this point, but i'm still getting used to riding it and how it reacts to different terrain compared to the banshee. If anyone wants to go let me know if you need directions, otherwise I guess i'll catch ya'll out at some point or another. I'm prety safe to ride with, dad just likes to go off and crash by himself for some reason. -

I think pops will be better by the end of the week, but they told him 8-10 weeks for the muscles to completely feel up to par again. Told him we're going to have to put him on a Polaris Trailblazer or something slow like that so he cant get hurt. The 450 is really nice, seat is a bit hard compared to a banshee seat, but once you ride a little while it isnt too bad. The power is just really smooth on it from top to bottom and it rails through the woods pretty good to. Still not real fast on it yet but hoping to be ready for the opening XC race for the second half of the season in September. What have you been up to lately anyway? Havent heard from ya in a while. How's the shee doing? -

Well geez i'm kinda sorry I missed this post. I been looking for riding time to break in the new bike. We went to Murray on Saturday and Bulcher on Sunday. I'm usually bored with in about 30 min at Rocky since it isnt very big. Bulcher was good until dad went out to do a plug check run and looped the banshee right over on top of himself, that required an ER visit and the riding day cut a little short. The new bike should be just about broken in and the jetting is pretty close at this point. Maybe we can all plan a ride again sometime, since it looks like pops wont be riding for a month or so. He'll be lucky to be ready for the dune trip in August at this point. -
Happy Bday almost old timer. I bought myself a 450 for my bday. When you going riding again?

are banshee and warrior axles the same?
BansheeJen replied to nickxc's topic in General Banshee Discussion
No. We tried this on a bike a year or so ago and they were different. At least on the year models we were messing with. -
Well I bought into the YFZ hype too. I purchased one about 2 weeks ago and have been on 3 rides so far. I still have the banshee though so I figure the best of both worlds. I love the banshee for pure riding excitement nothing tops it. But in tight woods running XC the handling characteristics between the two are night and day. The torque on the YFZ is like driving an old school big block car, all the torque is fantastic. They both have their places, and each shines in its own environment.

Glad to know they are bad all over the US. Man the ones here in Texas are like buzzards flying over a dead body. Except I AINT DEAD YET! Christ cant even go out in the yard. No matter what I wear or how much DEEP WOODS OFF i put on the bastids wont leave me alone. Heck now they just bite through my clothes. Hoping the new found Texas heat dries up any water and kills the SOB's.

You suck! I'm going to rub in my vacation to the dunes when it comes up in August. Man does that seem so far away. Have a great time and be careful, dont break nothing else. You're probably almost healed now from the last adventure.

That's what is odd, is that I normally wear an 8 in Alpinestars. But these are like an 1 1/2 bigger than my old M4 Aplinestar size 8's. Go figure. -
