  3. nice. i knew a psi gage was important. i will do some research tonight when i get off work and look at the leak down testers on here. im gonna be running 19cc domes @ about 900 ft above sea level. guess i can mix a galon of 110 with 93 octane. or could i just run 93? i just want to make sure that i get every ounce of life out of my bike and not help destroy it. if that makes sense lol...

  5. Here is the deal. I have put some money into my shee on a rebuild. I have replaced just about every major part. Thing is, I wanna make sure I have the tools to make checks and maintain my shee. Psi gauge, fuel.mixture. I believe I made a mistake last year by just mixing up 5 gallons and letti g it sit for a while as to where gas waters down after time. I ran 32-1. So im gon a mix less amounts this year. Is there like a Preventative maintenance category in my clymer? Where can I pick up a gauge at?

  7. I figured it was OEm. Bought the bike. Rode for season and thought i would modify it. Found several things that were in poor condition. U dont know what ya gotnuntil u tear it down. I probably only rode it about 10 times last yr so im pretty sure ot was like that when I bought it
  8. Wish u posted yesterday... I had to pay 130 for flywheel local... the I side of mine went bad and somehow broke loose. All the rivets broke loose and slightly let the I side turn.

  10. Im currently building my "trail" play toy... Started out was just gonna freshen up top end...but after noticing other problems, I started doing some homework. I didnt go with a 4mil set up. I stayed with a stock 350 crank just gpt it trued & welded. Had to go to 65.25 on my bore size. Doing a mild port from low to mid. Advanced timing, cool head with 19cc domes, set of PWK 28 mm carbs. I already had my t5's and vf2's. So im curious to see how my shee has changed. Far as power I have no clue...but hopefully I should see some difference. Maybe later when I get the sand out of my vagina I will eventually work my way up to a 4 mil but for now... me being an amateur I will learn first and save my money for future mods

  15. first of all he asked what domes... i just said what i was gonna run. heard plenty of people run 93 octane on 19's. i didnt say he had to port. only stated if he WANTED to. im learning as we speak, im new to them aswell. it is his motor and can do as he pleases. he just asked what size domes and if he "had" to port. so can u not run 93 octane on 19's? whats the difference in "milled" and cool head?
  16. Im gonna be running a PD on my .40 over stock cylinders. Gonna run 19 cc domes and advanced timing plate. Im pretty sure u could get away with 93 octane on on 19's from what I have heard but I think I will run 110 in it just in case. Port only if you want. If your running stock carbs I would recommend on going with a set of PWK's. Can make a difference

  20. Anyone running any specials on topend rebuild kits? Or anything else. I work at nigjt and sleep durring day so its hard for me to call around. I have been on some sites already
  21. I dont have a guy here local that does any PC. I was wondering cause my bike is pretty much ready to go back together , and I dont have time to ship them off to get done. Is there a paint that will go on cylinders that will look good and not flake or wear off that quick? Has anyone tried this?
