nice banshee dude.. great addition... u wont be disappointed

well it's a long story. so here it goes... it started off, i was on craigslist and found a 02 shee for 3000... looked great... he said he would be willing to trade so i made an offer... a dessert eagle 44 and a ar-15 whcih both where new but nothing added to them... he first said no, and then 2 hour later sent a txt back and said that he was interested and would trade... so i load up and go on a 2 1/2 hour drive just to look and trade... through the mountains in ky....long night... before hand i asked if it was ridable, he said yes...so i was excited... we get there and it was pitch dark... guy asks for boot and i told him i didnt have any cuz he never mentioned it.... so i was like i can go back empty handed...lol.. anyways i look at the bike, wheel bearing is gone out of right front side, radiator is bent, and the thing had no coolant under the seat... i was like wow... wtf!!! but to my surprise it started, we looked over it... all stock except a 4 inch extended swing arm and a complete set of toomey t5's. which were nice... we sat there forever, the guy calls someone about the guns and trying to gain knowledge from someone else beside asking me...so i sat there and talked to my cousin about it and was worried that something else may have been wrong with it tin the bottom end.. but it started fine and first kick everytime!! so what did i do? we sat there and talked about each thing and finally i was like it's late and i gotta frive 3 hours back home and then go to work in 3 hours... so i was in a hurry and just bluntly asked him what he wanted to do he was still intending on boot and i told him i didnt have any cuz it costed a $100 in fuel and i didnt bring anymore... so i was like well im out and then he stopped me and said load it up... so we did.. now it's fixed, wheel bearing is fine, i was worried about the hub though. it's full of coolant and well its one wicked 2002 banshee... i just dont think those guys knew what they actually had and how to maintain it... so hopefully now it;s in better hands!!!!

bought the kit, everything turned out great... the dumb a**es that owned the quad before me, must have not known what they had, didnt take care of it... i got there to look at it... no wheel bearing... radiator is bent... had no coolant in the tank, but it started like a champ everytime, so i took a chance on the bike, considering i couldnt ride it to see what it was like... but it started everytime though... i traded a dessert eagle 44 and a ar 15 for the bike.... i mean all i had to do was put a $30 bearing kit in it....it's a 02 shee with a complete set of t5's and a 4 inch swing arm... the rest is stock...even reeds... silly thing is that i have a 05 and it has vf3 reeds and fmf exhaust and cause i cant keep the 05 from staning up, the 02 beats me everytime... gotta be the swing arm.. it never comes up...lol

front plastics in pic that are blue?? wanna sell if they arent cut?

35 for both or one radiator? also will it work on a 02??

anyone know is it requires a new hub assembly, or just buy a bearing to put in there, i just traded a dessert eagle 44 and a ar 15 for a 02 banshee with t5's and 4 in swingarm... everything else seems stock as i can tell with out opening her up... but the front right side wheel is just barley on there and needs a bearing... rocky mountain has a set for $30. what should i do?

well i live in marion co... and well nutting here but farm land... which farmers really dont want to let ppl ride on them cuz so many ppl doin it with out permission!!!, so im just looking to hit some new places

hey guys.... man do i have a story, seems to turn out that , me being new to the banshee... i had my cousin which builds banshee's to race, take a look at my banshee..... in an hours time, he had it broke down.... and fixed... here is the story... first of all let me say that i had not touched this bike at all...only my carbs and idle..... anyways... the plug wires were crossed, jets were dirty, and the carbs needed to be adjusted. so pretty much the bike was just firing on ONE cylinder... so he checked it all out and now he told me that not to even think about what it rode like when i first got it, cause now... well he said that i would like it.... so just with a little work and a little knowledge from him my bike is in running order!!!! no my dumb ass will be reading EVERY singe thread i can find on here and i will have my nose crammed in the CLYMER!!!! all i can say is that im lucky that i didnt hurt the bike no more than it was... THANKS to all that led me in the direction and this site rocks!! now its time to learn.. thanks guys!!!

thats what im doing today, just have to work all day, which sucks cause i will be up late tonight, i got the manual...had to drive 50 miles to get it though.... real big help

i don't have have manual yet, thats why im on here trying to find all about it... lol... looking for one at local shops, but dont seem to have any luck, i found one on ebay for 40 bucks....like i said, i had problems with the bike idling and we adjusted the idle and we prolly got the carbs out of sync, so no it seems like it wants to stall some right before the powerband kicks in... anyone know where i can find out on how to sync my carbs and check it out? i just found a clymer thats about 50 miles away from me...lol

well, i dont plan on building the bike other than leaving it stock... should be plenty for me and my wife to trail ride.... dont really plan on racing it or anything... i just like the t5's and would like to sell my fatty's so i can get t5's or maybe even trade them for a set... had some on ebay that were used but went for 450..lol... used at that.. the fatty's sound good... i just like the t5's

not really wanting to change performance of the bike yet until i get used to riding it now stock...lol but i love the sound of t5

yea i have the fatty's... which dont sound bad.. just not as distinctive than the t5's... thats the ones that i want.. i have been on youtube looking and listening and still the t5's sound better

hey guys, i have fmf exhaust on my bike, and i was looking to change it out. i love the way the t5's sound, but someone said that they are for moded bikes only.... i only use mine to trail ride with and maybe ride in the back yard... nuttin to bad... anyways, does anyone know where about i can find decent pricing for t5's?

hey guys, im new to the banshee and well honestly we adjusted the throttle cable on my carbs, and now it seems like when the power band kicks in, it seems to feel as if it is cutting out and getting to much gas, or seems to slip.... weird... any help would be appreciated... could it possibly be my carbs??

i have a 05 banshee, rather new to them, and i need to adjust the idle on it, it runs, but when we stop, it wont idle, it will die, what do i need to do?
