maybe you could use .030" base gaskets and then check port timming. copper spray on the headgaseket might work or at that point you can cut the head flat so it will seal properly -

If your lower your spring/base by a lb are you adding any arm weight? Will that graph show Iif it never fully locks up? Does it?

with a squish that tight and looks like the band is huge, I would want different domes anyways... next your going to be blowing out fire orings save yourself the trouble and do what you know you should do, call noss machine -
