Its not that hard dude. Just take ur tops off and look. Ur springs might be to tall or ur adjusters hitting. Either way its only those 2 things in the carb to keep it from rising.

Finch. Im being totally nice here. No hard feelings ok. Here goes. Check deck height with no gasket. Check squish of domes. Pick a gasket that lands u where u wanna be as far as squish after u do the math. I hope that helps. Ur durations will move slightly with different gaskets but .012 should be as cast timings still. "should be" but i dont know ur setup.

Check the connections to see if one is bad. I fixed mine. I had a loose connection. U can try switching wires from left to right and see if it moves to the other side.
