  1. Soooo, I'm looking for a case saver, silver or black pref. and axle nuts, the ones that hold the axle in, not for the hubs. Factory nuts would be fine but if you have something shiny that works too. Send pics and prices, thanks.
  2. No one said you would. No one is pointing fingers. No one is calling you out. It sounds like you agree with the rest of us, why are you so upset?
  3. My problem is with people that ride with no helmet. If you're putting around trying to get a bike to run how fast are you going, for how long and where are you riding? Probably not fast, far, or where there are other people riding at speed. It's not just about you, especially when there are multiple people shooting the hill or flat dragging. Any one of those bikes could fail in any number of ways and hit you or you them. Not to mention the bad light it puts our sport in. That's all we need, more restrictions and area closures. How long does it take to put on a helmet before you ride? What's your face worth? Your life worth? You have freewill and can choose not to wear a helmet and we have the same freedom to voice our opinion.
  4. +1 for Stellar, Tim is meticulous and makes great parts. I've seen his shop, he can make whatever you need.
  5. Arizona is a big state, what city are you in?
  6. Deja Effing vu http://bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=145441&st=0&p=1253951&fromsearch=1entry1253951 http://bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=145440&st=0&p=1253939&fromsearch=1entry1253939
  7. Welcome to the HQ! When you get a chance post some pics of your Banshee. The easiest way is to host them on Photobucket, or the like, and paste the img image in your post.
  8. Looks great Tim. I just did this, twice! One bike is all black, the other all white. There is nothing like tearing it all down and having everything cleaned and powdercoated. Almost hate to ride it.... almost.
  9. Lots of great deals out there. One of them even has the rebuilt kit for you. Forget the dealer, these bikes are much better!
  10. Who says we don't? No one in our group rides without one and we won't ride with anyone that doesn't. If they were to crash we would be brought into the mess, literally and figuratively. Most guys you talk to about wearing helmets are idiots (duh, no helmet) and don't listen. Once in a while they will put it on next time. Even less often they put it on before the ride. My personal favorite is the guy on the street bike with his helmet strapped to the bike.
  11. Common etiquette. Get a clue. Someone woke up on the wrong side of the cave.
  12. He said "i am not "racing" but just tryna get a more pleasant ride (and softer landings) from it when on the mx track." I'm sure the best would give him a great ride but that's not what he needs, not yet anyway...
  13. He might if you STOP TYPING IN ALL CAPS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  14. K, cool.
  15. I put YFZ shocks on one of my Banshees and would do it again in a heart beat! Why are you set on aftermarket? My A Arms are from Stellar (a site sponsor) and are custom made for the YFZ shocks. Highly recommended! I don't have any experience with the G Force Axle but it's got to be better than stock.
  16. Thank you very much.
  17. Great pics! People still ride without helmets?
  18. A new crank. Probably much cheaper to rebuild your own. How much is it to do it yourself?
  19. Sounds like a good plan. Like I said before, let us know how it goes.
  20. It's a never ending battle to keep stuff organized. If you want to post your pics in the future all you have to do is put your mouse over the pic on Photobucket and a list will open. If you left click on the img link in that list it will copy it (no need to double click) and you can then paste the link in your post and voila, your pic is on the HQ! Good luck with the sale.
  21. First of all welcome to Banshee HQ. You will find a vast amount of knowledge about banshee here. Give the search function a try, it isn't perfect but can be your best friend. If they are asking $4000 for what looks like a stock Banshee run away! Much better deals can be found on this site or your local Craigslist. Tell us more about yourself (location, age and what type of riding you want to do) and we will help you as much as we can. Welcome!
  22. You're welcome, now you have time to clean the garage
  23. I'll probably get my epoxy from Lowe's or Ace. I don't want to fill and drill either. Used tanks are $30 on E-bay so it isn't worth too much trouble to fix it.
