  1. When you say the ignition system what do you mean? Do your headlights work at all? Only on High? How did you test the bulbs? Where did you test the power going to the bulbs?

  4. That makes sense. I have a stubby vent tube so it'll stay empty.
  5. Hey all, I had my headlights hard wired to be on all the time and decided I wanted a switch to turn them off. I already added a dead man switch and wasn't going to run the lights on low (why is that setting even there?) so the stock switch was out of the question. The Cascade clamps have a spot for the key and a tiny hole for who knows what. I decided to put the switch in the key hole and a little light in the smaller hole to let me know the lights were on. Low and behold I found the switch below at O'rielly Auto Parts and killed two birds with one stone. I'm still trying to find a replacement for the washer the switch sits on but it works and looks good enough for now. Lights off: Lights on:

  7. I like to go to Vegas at least once a year. Sometimes we stay cheap on Fremont St. and other times we party it up on the strip. Either way I'll let you know when I'll be there and we'll enjoy a few cold ones. Thanks again, I really do like my seat!
  8. It was my turn to get a seat from Vegas Jeff and he did not disappoint! I went with an all white, carbon fiber style seat cover for the white framed bike. It'll get used with all white plastic or with the blue plastic with white stickers. Pics of that later. Jeff was great to talk to about what I wanted and after throwing a couple ideas around I made my choice. The seat cover got here really fast and Jeff even contacted me to be sure I got it and it was what I was expecting. Perfect! He even included some tips about mounting the seat that made my life a little easier. (it's 110 in Tucson so no need for the dryer trick) I finally mounted the seat cover and couldn't be happier. THANK YOU Vegas Jeff for an awesome job! If you are thinking about getting your Banshee seat recovered call or PM Jeff! P.S. Next time I'm in Vegas the drinks are on me!
  9. And they're still here? Snatch em up!
  10. Lay-oooz, uh-er! Way to join the HQ with a first post that sucks.
  11. Give Tim a call and tell him what you need and he will take good care of you.
  12. Shipping anything work 3K is a pain. I used to work for a jeweler and we would ship diamonds worth thousands. We always had return receipt, signature required and insurance. Big $. An extended frame is a whole nother monster, my frame was stock so no problem there. Often the rear subframe is removable to help reduce length but it can still be pricey. If you wanna play... you gotta pay!
  13. X2 I had a frame shipped to me here in Tucson from the East coast and it was under $80 via Greyhound. I would call them back because whoever you talked to didn't have a clue. It does take longer than UPS or USPS, and you do have to go pick it up at the Greyhound station, but it's worth it.
  14. Some people have more money than sense.
  15. Bump for a great tire! If I didn't already have a set I would jump on this.
  16. I was finally ready for some new a arms so I drove over to the Stellar shop here in Tucson. There were frames, swingers, a arms, jigs, a motorcycle and even a dune buggy in the shop. But I digress. My +3 a arms for YFZ shocks are AWESOME!!!!! Tim was friendly, professional and does great work. Here's a couple pics with my thanks! I'm lucky enough to live here and not have to wait for shipping but even if I lived on another continent I would buy from Tim at Stellar. Thanks again.
  17. (I just picked up a set from Tim at Stellar. Mine are +3 and made for YFZ shocks but he will make you whatever you need. He is a site sponsor so you will be helping the HQ too! Great guy, great value, great arms! Here's a couple pics... Yes, I know one shock is missing a cover) Thanks again Tim, they are AWESOME!!!

  22. Good call, I thought it was your thread. Back on topic, Quadatic20, do you have any better pics of the seat? Vegas Jeff is making me one like it and I'd like to see the texture better. Thanks
