I have an aftermarket clutch basket for sale. Not entirely sure on who made it. Cushions need replaced. Stock gears included. Has a few dings in it from a clip coming undone. Was still in use at time of removal. Make an offer

I am looking for a set of used straight cuts or the best possible deal on a set. To many winter projects on my machine have left me on limited funding. I have an aftermarket hinson basket if a replacement basket is needed.

This post is about sniper pipe performance. Let's quit knocking eachother and get back to the topic at hand. We are all friends at that track and this engine builder bullcrap aside. Randy and jesse if you wanna check the performance on these sniper pipes, I owe you guys a few favors, ill let you use mine to test on a dyno, just to see by chance if your bike makes more power. These pipes weren't made to be an average pipe. They were designed specifically around the porting applications on a 421 cub and work well. I've spoke to gary(the designer) along with jim smart and their aim was to scrape the most power through all ranges out of a 421 cub. Look at them as custom pipes built for your specific porting style. Even if the pipe wasn't working well which I tend to believe it is, we are on here to comment on no matter who ported the motor the pipes do make a substantial horsepower change. These pipes no matter how hard you run or push your motor only seem to work better and the in frames are supposed to make more power than the oofs. I've never run shearers so I can't really say anything about them but I've run two styles of cpis and the snipers work much better on the cub. Racing isn't about winning all the time atleast not for me. its about the heart you put into that machine. I love racing with a passion and I could care less if I don't have the best parts or the nicest bike. I work with what I have and I enjoy learning what makes it faster or slower. Randy you are always one of the firsts along with brad to help someone at the track and I'm. Sure I speak for a lot of people when I say we have the utmost appreciation for you two along with fraker for supporting us less fortunate two stroke enthusiasts. I know I def. Appreciate it. And as for next yr....I think you guys got a taste of me last race.....lol ill be seeing your hjr 4mil in the finals all next yr......this time I'm bringing my a-game.......haha.

Reading my own post I see that I sound like I might be a dick. I apologize. In no way am I dissing anyone especially kevin herr. He must do some pretty good work because he is obviously still in business. I was merely pointing out my observations to support the sniper pipes. And pointing out that I suck at the lights and if I'm winning it must have a lot to do with the motor to make up for mmake up for my reaction times. I'm sorry jesse. I'm backing the other guys on this one. Not everyone has the money to dump into like you guys have. I built mine on hopes and dreams as well as a few other people in the class. I don't feel it is right to be ragging on people like that and think its kinda dickish. Surely you must see that we are becoming more of a threat to you and charlie. Most of us don't send an entire motor out to have it built professionally nor have the funds available. We go and do our best to make them better and faster on our own. Along with that we don't dyno nor do we have aftermarket chassis. This was only meant to promote the pipes not for everyone to get in here and piss eachother off.

Its one thing to buy your performance, its another thing to do it all yourself. Most of us don't have the money to drop 3 grand every other week into our bikes. Sorry but I disagree with all the bitching and griping. Just shut up and win.

I say who gives a flying f***. Everyone is gonna defend their work. But track times and speeds talk. We are all about the performance. Zachs bike got faster, minus the little burp on the bottom end. Zach is an amazing rider and runs way more consistent than I do. Not starting shit with hjr or any other builder, it takes an amazing amount of patience and skill to do these things on your own. But these f***ing sniper pipes are the real deal. I have been to three different tracks this year and have only lost to bigger motors or to my own incosistency with lights. I'm not the best rider but have still managed to place 4th at our track in the points this yr tied with someone else. I've brought home second at our track on the last race running 6.2s and a 6.1 at the end of the night. I have one of the original oofs snipers and I have no complaints in the world minus they aren't chromed. I've run 4.0s on a 300ft this yr and lost to a 14mil cheetah in the finals by a half a bike on a 465 hard packed dirt track with horrible conditions. Once I set aside the crank problems and fixed a few little tuning problems and with a lot of help from brad this bike came to life. These pipes accelerate like nothing you'll ever feel. If you stage at three quarter throttle for max torque and the lights drop when you peg that throttle you better hold the fuck on. I've placed 3rd and 2nd at these other two tracks and I am a horrible rider for consistence when it comes to reaction times. Lol. My bike is gary bilbys passion ported cub on 112 vp. I run 39pwks with a pvl and no straight cuts on a stock chassis. I lost to an hjr motor in the finals last race but it wasn't by much and it most likely had to do with my .500 lights. Passion racing has done an amazing job with this product and ill stand up for them and the way they are with their customers. These aren't just a slap on performance part. Tuning is a must to scrape the most out of them but when you get them spot on, that's exactly what they are is spot on. Again hjr, I have no beef with you or any other engine builder for that matter, just posting performance and defending brad. He's a great guy to know and has helped many people. Any questions on my bike just ask or text.....8145058437

I apologize for some of the things i have said. I was caught up in the heat of the moment and with drill for the weekend and crap at home left me in one hell of a mood. As for the track, we have an impressive turnout, on average 375 entries we pass through from 12 in the afternoon to 12 midnight in a double elimination set up. it is difficult and the bbdr staff deserves alot of credit. As for me, I among any builders know the amount of time, tuning and prep work that goes into building a reliable banshee. not to mention the frustrations of the little things going wrong. tire pressure being a little off, hooking to hard, not feathering the clutch off the start. the track is very difficult to ride and even guys with 20 yrs exp. have their big one. Sorry I do take alot of pride in the things I do, but thats what makes me pretty good at what i do. I pay more attention to detail that way.

I am from a track in Pennsylvania called the Blair Bedford Dirt Racers. My family has been racing at the track for 15 plus years. I myself have been racing there for 4 yrs. The track is a 500 ft dirt clay mix with pro lights. i run the 386cc to 430cc semi pro banshee class and the 430cc to 535cc semi pro banshee class. We have on average 12 to 15 different banshees in our classes including 2 passion ported banshees. We have other various competitive banshees professionally ported also. The class is very tight and competitive normally coming down to not more than 2 or 3 tenths of a second. Most of the time even less than that. I have never been the person to purchase new parts, mostly just looking around for what good used parts I can find. I have a 4mil 421 cub that has been built from the ground up by myself. I used a few tips here and there but got only get my banshee running consistant 6.5s and 6.6s at 85mph. These E.Ts were about the average for the class but my mph was a little lower. I ran the smaller 35mm keihin pwks against everyones will versus the 39s. stock axle unlightened chassis, mild port job, and a billion other minor things that made me one of the smaller bikes in the class made me the underdog. Towards the end of the 2010 season I was talking with Brad Painter while I was away at my training for the military about what I could do to be a contender. Among various tips of carb sizes, port timing, lightening the chassis and sprocket sizes, the idea was thrown around that maybe my old style cpi drag pipes maybe holding me back. Rated for around 400ccs they still ran pretty well on my bike. Be that as it may, we decided to try a set of unmarketed newly designed pipes from passion racing and Gary Bilby. They called them sniper pipes. They had them in an inframe style but me loving the noisy ping of drag stingers opted to have a set of out of frame customs made. I got them while I was away and Brad mounted them for me. I came home for that very next race. The sound of a sniper out of frame drag pipe is very distict, as in it sounds like no other banshee pipe on the market. I ran my practice lap and check the plugs. It seemed a tad bit to lean so we richened it up again. I ran a 6.3 at 87 on my first pass, the second i bogged due to rider error and insuffient throttle. These pipes had one hell of a pull to them and this motor never felt so alive. Round 2 i had a bye in the small class but the big class I ran some unknown opponent i had never seen before. In my mind I was thinking I can beat this guy easy. I watched the stage lights drop and dumped the clutch pegged at full throttle. Winding through every gear on my override tranny this machine pulled every gear on the wheelie bar. i had never felt a thing like it. As i was coming down the return lane I seen Brad walking up to me with my time slip with this look on his face like what the hell just happened. Scared me for a min, thought maybe I redlighted or something. But no, I snatched the slip from his hands and was at awe at what I saw on the slip. I ran a 6.058 at 91mph being one of the fastest times if not the fastest time in the class all year. I went from being one of the underdogs to one of those guys you were generally scared to race by the end of the season. my bike ran 6.3s and 6.2a at 89-90mph the rest of the season. I cant even begin to tell you how excited I am for the 2011 season with these pipes and my new passion ported 4mil rather than my unported cub. As for the sniper pipes, I fully reccommend these pipes to anyone with a cub motor. Dont just trust someone. Performance talks!!! And these sniper pipes will dominated the pipe market for banshees for a long time to come. Just ask banshee332 on this one. he was the guy holding the time slip. remember mine are a one off set of outta frames....only a few of those made so far but they are still the same sniper design. i can provide pics of mine if youd like to see them
