I went broke spending money on a quad I ride a few times a year off my property. Before this conversation goes where broke dick , banshee , and trail all come together.... fuck suspension.
I'm thinking the first couple of power valve setups that came out the Banshee was relatively popular and people could live with small HP Motors that they could turn into good trail quads. Now when the sport is more limited people want to go bigger and by this time the power valve cylinders that were out didn't work right so no one makes anymore I'd love to see somebody make a setup that actually works.
^ what he said. That's why they seem like the best fit for a primitive banshee. I'm just a dumb railroad engineer so I know nothing i just think it would be cool to offer a PV motor on a banshee again.

I was bored watching YouTube videos when I came across the video of LED explaining a Sphynx cylinder with a rotax power valve. I'm not sure if this topic has been brought up before but I was wondering if anybody has thought about putting two of those on a Banshee bottom end if those power valves seem to work okay wouldn't it stand to reason that adding two to a banshee bottom end give us a proven option for a PV banshee motor?
Ooohhhh... I didn't think they made those anymore. They are definitely the best looking pipe IMO. Wish I had the coin to have led make me some in that design for the smerv

Jmadd I believe they would have been more suitable for the trail/duner. I've seen two cheetahs set up right with the PVs installed and they were awesome. PAbanshee Matt must have some tss he did cause both were tuned by him iirc.

I wish I knew where all the cheetah cylinders went. Can you imagine what a hit they would have been in today's market with how well the servals are doing. That is if they got the bugs with the power valves and domes worked out.
Those look clean and super cheap! I'm ordering them today. Sorry to hijack this post but you know of a way to wire them up to work off the stator without flickering and not have to mess with the stock stator? Also if you can wire them up with the battery to the stock switch? My nephew has tons of those rc batterys laying around.
