  3. Just a quick review of a set of bars Tyson Racing did for me. I needed the bars and stem separate and the length left long so I could adjust it to the length I wanted, then weld myself....no problem. He was easy to work with, open to my ideas, and easy to get in touch with. The price was very fair too. Quality of workmanship. .A++ Sent from a van down by the river

  5. The whole concept of wanting a site sponsor to compete price wise with ebay is really not fair when you think about it. Sponsors such as Kan are providing a level of service and knowledge that you will not get on ebay. So it's not an " apples to apples" comparison. Sent from a van down by the river
  6. Screw ebay. People trying to build a motor from eBay get what they deserve. Sent from a van down by the river
  7. Fireball makes quality stuff. No worries with that. Sent from a van down by the river

  9. Nope. Id be nice if guys like you didn't need monitoring....but we see that's not the case..........
  10. Your welcome. You've heard the expression " give a man a fish feed him a day. Teach him to fish , feed him a lifetime? " I made the assumption you were a man and wanted to learn..not be spoon fed like a baby. Sent from a van down by the river
  11. Yep. Pretty much. Sent from a van down by the river
  12. Yep. And I gave you a valid answer. You're welcome. Sent from a van down by the river
  13. I don't get it I guess. You have guys going to tracks to race..driving hrs at a time, buying all the proper tools , spare parts, ect. They spend $ 8 - 10,000.00 on the engine (or more) spend 1000.00 on a set of rear tires ..or more.. tons of money on fuel, etc, etc, etc. The list goes on and on... but buying a good DOT and SNELL helmet, a 300.00 neck brace, some 200.00 boots is too much of an inconvenience? I know there are a couple other little bits and pieces. .but in the grand scheme of things, we aren't talking about much money compared to the rest of the expenses involved in racing. I would also assume there would be a few safety details the track it's self would need to implement. Sent from a van down by the river
  14. Do a search... Instead of expecting people to spoon feed you info that's already been addressed. Plenty of threads on this topic. Sent from a van down by the river
  15. Nope. Probably why the sport doesn't grow like it should. Can't get along long enough to agree on rules or safety requirements. No organization and safety regulations equals no big name sponsors and exposure. No big name sponsors and exposure equals no money. No money equals no growth. All because people can't get along. Imo. 17. Gotcha. Why don't you just send them back to k&t and gave them set it up properly for you? ( billet cases, crank, domes, and check all clearances). Sent from a van down by the river
  18. I'm confused. Did they come from A & S or k&t ? Sent from a van down by the river

  20. You need a clymers manual and to tear it completely down. Or call a builder on here and let them do it for you. Sent from a van down by the river
  21. Are you sure it's boiling and not compression pushing it out? Sent from a van down by the river

  23. Leave everything rough except the exhaust. Do dome reading on boundary layers and flow. Sent from a van down by the river
  24. Read the walk through on here or buy a clymers manual. If you plan on working on this thing, it'd be better to do that ...because you'll just be asking questions that both of those things will answer immediately when ever you need it. Sent from a van down by the river
