A DEK has a richer diameter ( affects about 1/8th throttle,,,thats the "D") and the taper is richer ( the "K") the length ( "E") is the same. They have the same amount of clip positions.

I never liked a CEL needle in my PJ carbs,, i prefered the DEK. I know that dosent help you any but just my opinion.

Thats almost exactly what happened to my buddys bike,,except he was at the end of our strip. Really rolling. Pretty much trashed his bike and he didnt fair too well. Convinced me not to risk it. He rocked the YFZ front for most of the season and i guess figured it was going to be ok after a while. guess not.

Its not the wearing out you need to worry about,,,,it that the bad angle puts them in a bind. A buddy of mine ran this setup and his broke while at speed..not pretty,tore his bike up pretty good.

No prob. There is a "How To" for this in one of the forums here. This kit has a nice heavy backing plate a real heavy cushions that'll last. Just drill out the old rivets and use the bolts Mattoon sells.
