  2. Have a n air box with pro design billet adapter, K&N filter with an outer wear box comes with lid all is in excellent shape. make me an offer
  3. Pm me if u still have shocks
  4. Funny you say that cause your little picture clearly states. For stock carb only... maybe some of us spend onetime ridding And not playing on our pc.. so good to hear its so easy.. obviously not easy enough to post a link..
  5. I need a link for some k&n filters and outer wears for 28 mm pwks.. thanks.
  6. Ya Polaris 500 sucks hard core and slow for a 500.. you will wax his ass if you lanch your banshee right
  7. thanks guys, sounds like thats my next purchase. think I can hit 55 hp with 155 lbs. compression, 28 mm pwk's, dual stage reeds, +4 timing. toomy t 5 pipes. stock bore and stroke and no porting..
  8. on the site it says I will have , estimated 156 lbs compression with 21 cc domes would I have to run 110 fuel.. im a 250r guy and 110 wasn't recommended until 195 and up.
  9. No. I had one when I was 19. So 11 yrs ago. I didn't really have a clue then. It had a milled head sat pipes. V .2 reeds and was ported. Don't remember it being really faster then this one. My buddy just put his together he has a drag port thunder pipes and 35mm ons and I can spank him. He swore mine must be built now I know his stuff just isn't working so well together.
  10. Defiantly not.4 mill. And does not appear to be ported or head milled. So I guess I will send it to Kevin at end of this season
  11. Thanks for the reply. It's a good running bike so don't care to split the cases just yet. I will today pull the head off and post some pics. A while back I pulled intake off to seal them up with 1211 and see what type of reeds it had.. the black was coming off but did not appear to be any grind marks. So I'm guessing no port work. And from what I could see cylinders still had lots of cross hashing making me think top end is pretty fresh
  12. Ok so I picked up a banshee, all in all its a nice quad. it has 28 mm pwk's but the previous owner ground off the the lip on the front of the cabs and im worried the open filters will fall off. any ideas why this would be done. currently put air box on for piece of mind. I would also like to know if there is anyway of telling what kind of crank is in it with out tearing it down, and how I can tell if the head is milled. It seems to be pretty quick for just having the said carbs on it.. and toomy t5 pipes. and boysen dual stage reeds. also what would be a good replacement clutch kit? starting to slip a bit. thanks for the help..
  13. I have a 4 month old amana 14000 btu heat pump, with electric back up and air conditioning. just like you see in a hotel.. no more working on your banshee in a 100 degree garage or freezing winter temps.. this thing rocks. heated my insulated 2400 sq ft. garage no problem. never got a chance to try ac. i moved and took it along and have no need for it now. payed 1350. will take 800 or trade for banshee parts. I will not ship this unit.. it is in mint condition. i can send pics from my evo.. parts needed. aftermarket shocks. anti vibe stem + 1 or 2 1 1/8 bars tires, front and rear. pro pegs not slip seat cover
  14. i thought a progressive rate spring meant it would not change ( spring would not get stiffer ) as the spring compressed.
  15. bulbs good ? have they been modded for different bulbs?
  16. Camatv,, your avatar weirds me out man.. lol
  17. I have everything you have minus the port and I have 28 pwks.. a very nice spread of power..
  18. so you can but dual stage reeds on stock cages ?
  19. dual stage boysen reeds, could you post a link or a pic to compare mine to.
  20. can pick up a set for 100 bucks. have boysen reeds now.. whats everyone think of these
  21. I just sold a ruff 96, no title, and a blown top end for $1000. where I live good luck getting a nice quad under 2000. im sure there r deals out there just not overly common.. I have owned over 30 dirt bikes and quads over the 24 years I have been riding and have never even seen what a title or certificate of origin looks like for one of these machines. I just live by the way of protect what u know is yours. many will disagree. and I respect that.
  22. ya your right.. why do they call the part of the carb that faces the front of the machine the back ? I will post pics today.
  23. I think your missing something.. I know where to measure a carb.. my question is why would someone do this, ( make air filter side bigger ) like someone has done.. it didn't make seance to me.. so I asked wondering if there is something that maybe I didn't know.
  24. yes that is what I measured. i wasn't sure. the engine side does not appear to be modified. why would someone open the back side and not the front
  25. I have cut many plastic and I'm a finish carpenter and have cut some crazy detail in wood.. A coping saw is an awesome way to cut plastic.. percision cut first time and does not melt plastic.. then sand it it out for a factory look finish..
