  1. Seeing as how Rudy Kurtz invented the override trans for a Banshee, I would say without a doubt he cuts the best override and he has also been doing it the longest!
  2. Blanco is correct you have to know him to get porting done. He still works but only for those he knows and even then its only if he feels like it. Retirement must be nice Hahahaha
  3. Rudy closed up shop several years ago and kinda retired.
  4. Looking for some 40mm lectron gas carbs with power jet. Packards preferred but not a must PM me with what you have. Thanks
  5. I found a set of 36/38 that i'm thinking about getting with power jets. http://bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=153468
  6. What size/type Lectron for a 421- 465 Cub for Duning, Hillshooting, Racing for fun. Basically for all types of sand riding?
  7. It's time for another Glamis trip!

  8. So I spoke with Tom Borrink on the subject of running my silencers center mounted. I also asked him about eliminating the silencers and just running a stinger tube. I know it would be loud as hell but in Glamis there is no noise restrictions so no biggie to me. Hell your even safer running a loud pipe in the dunes so people know your coming. If you look at R-2s they are very similar in design to a OOF pipe made to fit inframe. I told Tom this and he said I could definitely run just a stinger tube and would even get more performance out of it. A lil fab work is involved but he told me to cut the stingers 8-10" from the main pipe and weld it to the main pipe or fab a bracket. I thought this was a cool idea and love the sound of OOFs so just knowledge I wanted to share. Also would need to re-jet for this.
  9. Runs labeled Scotts 4mm Cub are the Shearers.
  10. Guns, i'm running a 15/41 on my bike and even with 9 paddle haulers it spins the shit out of the tires so try a 15 and see how you like it.
  11. @FAST, No it was on a dual 34pjs it was till fat on top because my topend was on its last leg so I ran it rich hoping to get more life out if it.
  12. Thanks bro
  13. 180 main is going to be way rich, on my stock cylinders w/dune port I was running a 162 and a 48 pilot, CEL 2nd from top, and I was still fat on top. I am at the same elevation as you so I'd suggest starting with a 168 main and a 48 pilot. Your going to be rich on the top but you can plug chop your way to happiness and as far as the needle just start it in the middle and play with it till you get your throttle response optimal. I ended up 2nd clip from the top on my old setup.
  14. I ran 34pjs on my stock stroke stock cylinder dune port and it ran hard so imo yeah run them and when you get your Serval they are a good choice as well and if you don't like them you can always go back to a single setup again
  15. Thanks for all the kind words, its a old Cascade seat that was originally red and yellow that I rattle canned with some flat black vinyl paint. I have ridden it many, many hours since and it hasn't flaked or rubbed off at all. The rest of paint is all rattle can as well with a lot of emphasis on "PREP". The bike was originally red and yellow but that wasn't my thing so I changed it up. For painting your plastics I first did a lot of prep work and used Krylon Fusion but it sucked and chipped off with the slightest rub of a boot or anything. Then I re-sanded them down and cleaned them thoroughly and used some Bulldog Promoter and some Walmart rattle can flat black and it held up 10x better and after 4 days in Glamis and getting sandblasted and ridden hard it doesn't have a scratch on it. Also If you have anything that is chrome or polished aluminum that you want colored they sale a can of translucent paint at AutoZone called METALCAST by Dupli Color that if sprayed over anything Chrome or Polished it looks just like Anodizing as a matter of fact everyone who has seen my side cases in person thought I had them anodized. It comes out really nice and is way cheaper than anodizing just make sure to clear coat it and your good to go.
  16. Calm yourselves boys and girls, I planned on getting my bike dynoed right away but as we all know shit happens. My bike isn't in pieces Check the Banshee Appearance Section I just put up some new pics. I just called Roger at WickedATV before Thanksgiving but he was busy and I was told to call back on Monday which I will and schedule some dyno time. Trinity isn't an option even though they are 5 minutes away, for obvious reasons. 'Mea Maxima Culpa' I should have never started this thread without having dynoed it first but like I said shit happens. It's just a forum guys and you don't have to read this or any other thread especially if its causing your blood pressure to rise or your asshole to pucker. I will get it dynoed at the first available time slot at Wicked as now I finally have some free time to do so. Once again I am sorry to ANYONE who has been hurt emotionally by the length of time that these dyno numbers have taken to come to fruition, but I WILL have them for you all I PROMISE. "As you were" and carry on you turds!
  17. I just need some Ball cups cut into the seat to hold my boys
  18. Thanks bro I think it looks nicer now, thats an old pic I changed the paint a lil. I need to post some newer ones.
  19. You don't need clamps they are O-ringed but like RRL said if they do leak just put a lil High Temp RTV along the inside O-ring groove and they will seal up perfectly and it will have a much cleaner look than clamps. JMO, Good Luck.
  20. Nice pipes bro, your going to have a nice setup with all those goodies!
  21. Awesome write up, I love the R-2s and after running them in Glamis this past weekend I like them even more.
  22. I'm running 15/41, I'm looking at either 21-12-8/10 paddle or 22-11-8/10 paddle haulers
