  1. I have a stock throttle and some stock carbs i gotta see about the cable I think I have one. What are you wanting to get out of the cylinders im very interested.
  2. elevation wis supposed to be about 300-400 ft where were locateed if that helps.
  3. I know im not as well known as the others on this site but my 2 cents is to get the cylinders ported like everyone else said. Get the port job you want a dune port to me is more of a mid top port but everyone has a different opinion. Then to gain some bottem end add an adjustable timing plate. Personally I run the pwk 28s theyre gain some power over stock but are small enough that you wont be losing bottem end. I guess everyone has a different opinion mabey my ideas making scence in my head but not realy logical. Another way I look at it is build it for bottem end with a nice agressive mx port and then add big carbs to gain some good topend. Ive always been told bigger carbs = more top end and a smaller carb like a 28 will retain better bottem end. A port job will run around 300 which is probvably less then the bigbore without the portng. An adjustable stator plate runs about 50 and carbs vary. You can always bore stock carbs to 28 in a pinch.
  4. I should be getting some big bore cylinders all ported by trinity soon theyre a stock cylinder with big bore sleeves. Im in the pittsburgh area sorry don't know elevation but would like to stay on pump gas. I was thinking like 21cc domes? Any help would be appreciated.
  5. How much are you wanting for them? Do they have pistons it might be a little much for the riding I do but who knows it might be fun.
  6. Might be pretty interested do you think the bevel could be bored out.
  7. Pretty interested in the 4 mill ported cylinders what kind of port job do they have? Do you have the pistons to go with them and what kind of price were you thinking? Hey alf if I get some money im deffinatley gonna try and put some money in your pockets I really appreciate all the help youve been giving!
  8. I know their customer service SUCKS but im coming from a stock cylinder/port/stroke bike. I figured unless their was a realy good reason to stay away from it id just get it for the fact I can get it for the price of a new 4 mill stroker crank itself. Worse comes to worse mabey ill sell the cylinders and head and get another set of cylinders and have them ported ect. Hows that sound?
  9. I have the chance to buy a set of stock cylinders with big bore sleeves ported by trinity, 4 mill crank, and trinity head does this sound like a good setup? Ive been told the big bore stock cylinders aren't the greatest but this bikes mainly gonna be for ripping through the fields and the hillclimbs. It has trinity pistons which im not familiar with are they any good? Also he has 19cc and 21cc domes. What kind of compression am I gonna see with the 21cc domes? What kind of gas am I going to run I know with my 21cc domes on a stock stroke I had 150 psi and could run 93. Any info or advice is appreciated!
  10. I tryed to use the link and couldn't use it. Can someone post a new link to the site im very interested in getting his porting im not sure If I want the agressive/dune or mx port

What about some flat black paul turners. Anyone who isn't familiar with a banshee can mistake them for stockers
  12. Does anyone by chance have some cylinders they'd wanna sell? Looking for a nice ported set of cylinders even if theyre just a nice clean up port. I have a spare bottem end and no cylinders!!!
  13. So would the 33 or 35mm be my best bet then? How do you like the single carb compared to duals. Im not completely sold on it yet because I haven't tryed it. I don't think I would of ever bought one but got it on a good trade so why not try it out?
  14. Ya I got them for a really good deal. I traded a kid some stuff and ended up getting these but he has my stockers. I have a kx500 carb at my house I can test with and ill test with this as well. Im excited to see the results I just hope the filter will fit on both carbs!
  15. Keep in mind this is a play bike nothing crazy, and im comparing this to stock carbs or 28mm pwks even. The bike will probably only have pipes, filters, adjustable timing, and mabey ported cylinders at some point probably just a clean up port. Thanks in advanced guys!
  16. I was going to add a 39mm pj with a boyesen float bowl probably. I just figured the reason it took away from the top is the fact that its a smaller carb. I Have 28mm pwks but I think im going to try this on my other bike just for fun I have a kx500 carb which is a 38 or 39mm keihin I can use for experimenting. It would be used on more of a play bike to cruise the woods and crack some jumps on the track ill put the pwks on my other bike for bombing through the fields and racing around.
  17. I've heard alot of people bash the 2 into 1 carb because it realy takes away from the amazing topend a banshee has, but have had more then one person tell me they liked it because of the bottem end and tourque increase. What about adding a newer 250 dirtbike carb like a 38mm pwk airstryker carb? What if I added that and had it bored to like 39-40mm what do you guys think? The only reason I ask is because im trading my cylinders and pistons and stock head for a trinity 2 into 1 carb, clamp on uni, stock bore cylinders and coolhead, and possibly cases and tranny since I gotta deliver it all.
  18. Ive considered it but am I going to lose much bottem end in this setup? I do ride some trails and slower riding especially when I take the lady with me (Gotta make it enjoyable for her too!) I know the mid/top should be insane, ive just always heard they were more of a drag setup and still want to be able to do some track and trail riding. BTW your bike looks SWEET.
  19. Ya I know but im not much for all that bottem end my shee does fine on bottem end imo with 15 41 gearing. I've only owned a couple four strokes in my life i've always rode 2 strokes most of them being quite high strung with no bottem end.. So no problem with me I like to ride the upper rpms anyway lol. I just can't decide what I want to do with this bike yet. Not sure if I want to just do ported cylinders and then build the other one up for realy putting the smack down. So as far as the vitos cylinders do you think I should just stay away? I think once I add my cfm air box, my adjustable timing plate, and some ported cylinders I should be more then content for a while on this bike. It handles and jumps so much better then my old 89. Im stumped lol what do you think I should do? Thanks for all the help!
  20. Alright thank you very much thats what I was hoping. I might just wait and put it on my other bike. The bike I just built is more oriented for mx and is tons of fun with more of a clean up port job no transfer work at ALL. Just T5s, pwk 28s, ported cages, little things like that. Do you think a 4 mill would be a bit much on this bike? Its not raced or anything just a play bike. I have another bike im redoing I could do a 4 mill in. Also does anyone have any experience with vitos 404 kits for stock cylinders?
  21. Well I have cylinders but they have mainly a clean up port no exhaust port work. They opened the intakes and worked the transfers some. Will I be able to safely run these? As long as Im not going to lose power im just going to put these on. My bike now has no porting whatso ever and needs a new crank so im wanting to put the 4 mill in now instead of later down the road.

  23. Yup Fastrthnu pretty much covered it. -2 swingarms are a must. Good shocks. Id recommend a CMF aluminum airbox. Its bigger then stock and takes 2 34mm pod filters and changes your intake length which is supposed to work pretty good.
  24. I forgot to add get a -2 swingarm!! It makes the handling and traction MUCH better. Also 28mm carbs will do you some good. Hope that helps bud!
  25. Well get the normal mods a good pipe and filter. Id say pro circuits because they are realy an all around good pipe then I'd go for a good filter. Ditch the airbox If you need the protection get a cfm aluminum one it takes dual 34mm clamp on filters and changes your intake length which is supposed to be good. Then if you still need more grunt good reeds and cages and a mx porting. +2 a arms and GOOD shocks REVALVED for your weight. A +4 axle would be good and setup your back shock aswell. Then good tires of your choice, be safe use some nerfs we dont need anyone with missing legs. After that is just personal preferences an adjustable timing plate would work great.
