  1. I had 22 inch mud bugs on my warrior I bet theyd work pretty good. Kind of like the above designs but the treads arent as straight across so they might not work as much like a "paddle tire". Still worth a shot and they wear VERYwell. Mine saw LOTS of road riding and didnt wear to much.
  2. I know some people realy like stock yfz suspension but what about after market yfz suspension? I have +2 a arms and realy would like some better suspension and theres more then enough after market shocks on the market.
  3. Do you think those shocks would fit up on a +2 a arm setup ment for a banshee?? How much modding did it take to fit? Very interested
  4. Its going to be more traction so for hill climbing I'd say no. The bike will be shorter making it easier to tip and roll.
  5. Ok the crank didnt I just wanted to see if there was a way to tell if the crank bearings themselves were bod I can tell when a rods going.
  6. Well I'm kind of looking for some opinions on whats better a keihin 28mm pwk or a mikuni flat slide 28s? Also anyone know about boring/taper boring carbs. Benefits of both please?? Thanks!
  7. Will do bud. How do you know if your crank bearings are good? Just see if the rods have excessive play left to right and any up and down?
  8. well im going to put my banshee back together I got some cylinders from a fellow member thanks 2sTrokeLove!!! Would you guys give the cylinders a light hone he said it had 135psi when he took it apart so it sounds pretty fresh still. I might put new rings in it for the heck of it. I normally run 40:1 on castor 927/super m/or amsoil dominator it all depends on what the dealer has. Would you guys recommend starting it at 32:1 giving it about 3 heat cycles then just takin it easy the first tank or 2 of gas then slowly stepping up the mixture back to 40:1 as the break in progress's. A really good friend of mine who raced 250b and a for a long time told me to do the heat cycles 2 or 3 times then on the 3rd time let it cool down to the point where its warm to the touch start it ride it very easily for a minute or two then open it up down a straight away turn it off and let it completely cool down? He says it seats them at hi rpm and thats the only way he'll ever break in his bikes. He says they last much longer that way. Any input is appreciated thanks guys

  12. Yes sir, let it warm up for a minute then eased around the yard some then slowly started getting a little faster and faster. I took the motor apart the jugs and everything looked FINE. BUTTTT in my cases you can see a giant gouge. It looks like something fell in there or broke and was spinning with the crank and gouged my case..
  13. It realy depends on what kind of riding you do but one of my favorite mods on my shee was the -2 swing arm. Much better traction and turning. Axle, +2 A arms, and decent shocks are also a HUGE +

  17. The pistons and jugs were lightly used no more then 5 hours on each. I was told not to hone it do to it will break the seat the rings are used to.
  18. Well I took the jugs off topends fine. Something was in my bottem end it looks like theres big scrape marks in the case like something was rubbing in it as the crank spun.

  20. Measure the cylinder and if its still within spec hone it and run it buddy. If you do have to rebore only go .10 at a time save your bores for when you need them.
