Hey I have another question for you. I'm new to the lockout tuning world..... I'm building a 10 mil cub for 1/8th mile on asphalt. What would be a good starting point to setup the lockout? I've been following these threads, I'm trying to learn about this but until I get to the track and get to test/tune and tune different things its hard to tell. My best 60 foot times I can get out of my 4mil stock cylinder is 1.63 using 3hd/3stk springs. Any recommendation would be appreciated. CE

86 at the 1/8 that's max out with 15/40 if i use 15/38 it will pick up a little.. Tire psi is at 4 pounds and depending how gd the track is it either spins a bit or wheelies. I tried some 20 a.r but the was to much tire for this motor. My goal is just to run 6.9s with this. The override/lockout and getting the 60ft into the 1.5s I think might get it done.. Next motor will be a 10 mil cub. I won't have to try that hard to run in the 6's with that:.

Drag port stk cylinders I did myself. Mull head, 35pwk, shearer off 10+ swingarm,+7 timing A.R 19x10x8.. Stk trans. 1/8 mile 86mph could get a little more with different gearing just can't get out the 1.6s in the 60ft..

How much time does an override tran help shave off?? Iam trying to get my 4mil stk cyl bike into the 6s before building a cub. This is on asphalt 1/8, currenty running 7.5s 60ft 1.63 330 ft 4.80 with a 210lbs rider on race gas.. things Iam going to add cause I need them for the cub anyways. Override 1-5,straight cut 2.68 ,lockout and 39pwks. Iam wanna try and do this without alky.
