  1. I looked at all my jets today and I do have 4 brand new ones in the package (27.5). My offer still stands, so let me know if you need em. I can't imagine you'll need 30 pilots for just Fattys. If you decide to go through a site sponsor, I highly recommend Alfies Toybox. Recently did a deal with Alf and he's a top notch guy and very easy to communicate with. Good luck!
  2. I think I do have some spare 27.5's for real, though. I'll tell you what. I'll check to see if I have 2 extras tomorrow morning and if I do, I'll send em to ya for just the cost of the ride in an envelope. Just cuz I busted your balls a bit. Sound good?
  3. I got my jets from M&M ATV (site sponsor) and that was a good experience. Give them a shout. I have the 27.5 pilots and don't need them. I'll give them to you for $2 plus $28 for shipping. LOL just fucking with you.
  4. Sometimes things just seem to cost more than they should.. But here's how I look at it. I would rather pay one of the good to deal with site sponsors a couple extra bucks to ship me the right items than drive 45 minutes to my local Yamaha dealer and pay them, only to receive the wrong parts and get the fuck around of a lifetime. Give the sponsors the business, bro. Without them, this site wouldn't be what it is.
  5. If I remember correctly, I think they come in packs of 4, so the price gets up there pretty quick. No offence, man, but are you seriously stewing over $30?
  6. Yea 20-25C is about right for temps here. I'll start looking for jets. I appreciate the great help. Thanks a ton!
  7. Ok so I had ordered a range of jets as well as carb rebuild kits for my stock carbs. Then I came accross a set of PWK 28's in the For Sale forum, so I jumped on them. I was wondering where to start with jetting on these carbs. Current mods are as follows: FMF Fatty's w/ Powercore II's Lid removed PWK 28's Running 36:1 Amsoil Interceptor (open to suggestions on different ratio) 300' Elevation Thinking about replacing reeds and porting stock cages (Or should I wait for porting to do the cages?) Also, what's needed to eliminate the TORS box properly? Obviously I don't need the kit now since I'm replacing the old carbs. Just remove the damn thing and forget about it? Thanks in advance for any help.
  8. Michael Jackson: As I respect your opinion, which, in your mind I'm sure makes total sense, some will disagree. I, for one, find bowhunting one of the most challenging and rewarding pastimes there are. You say how you buy your meat at the grocery store and eat it but don't claim to enjoy wathing nature? So you don't mind turning a blind eye to what really goes on at the slaughter house where your beef and chicken comes from, but us hunters are like savage beasts out there killing an animal using good judgement and ethics (not everyone, but they should)? It takes almost no time for a deer to expire from a well placed shot, and they never see it coming. How about them cows which are usually treated like dirt, then brutally slaughtered at the places where your grocer buys their meat? Venison (deer meat) has about 1/3 the fat that beef has in the same serving size and venison tastes incredible.. Honestly, who thinks about steak just after they've eaten a piece of venison? Nobody in their right mind. Venison is all natural and very healthy. I'd take Venison over beef anyday. Watch the Documentary "FOOD INC." You may never hit up the grocery store for beef or chicken again after you see what goes on with those helpless animals before you consume them.
  9. I've been wondering the same thing about mine since I noticed the hole, but never have time to really check it out. Now I know. Thanks, guys!
  10. That's cool to have the deer in your yard like that. I love hunting, but I also love to just watch wild animals. Nothing better than being in the treestand and watching everything around me. I'm not one of those hunters who has to kill everything within range. Nice pic.
  11. Awesome looking Pike and nice Walleye. If you ever get the chance to fish Bay Of Quinte, you'll get your monster Walleye. My buddy has a beautiful 14 lb Walleye on his wall, caught in Quinte. He regularly catches them 6-10lbs, but the 14 pounder was his biggest. Quinte is roughly 1.5 hours from where I live. Just haven't had a chance to get out there myself. Great pics!
  12. Sounds great. What's included in the carb kit? I already have jetting, but definitely need a set of needles. Mind shooting me a PM with a price for the carb kit and TORS removal kit to K0E 1L0 Lansdowne, Ontario? Thanks. Ryan
  13. First off, what the heck would cause the needle (on the slide) to get a bend in the end of it? I tore the carbs off and inspected them before a good cleaning and rejet and found that my right carb has a bent needle. I figure I might as well go ahead with the TORS removal kit and replace both needles at the same time. Who's best to ship to Canada? Thanks.
  14. Post pics or I call Bullshit on a garbage 2 blade Rage penetrating the skull. Prove me wrong.
  15. Didn't catch it myself but I'm glad to hear it. Shogun is indeed a beast. He was one of my fav fighters back in the good old Pride FC days. UFC sure would be better if they could play with Pride rules. I've missed alot of UFC lately. I never used to miss a beat.
  16. 80 hours of wet sanding to get the gold off the wheels? That's crazy. I have a way of removing anodizing in just seconds. I wish I had something anodized kicking around so I could do a short vid. It'd sure save people alot of time.
  17. If you decide to sell the PRM bumper seperately I'd be interested. Let me know.
  18. I use product made by Optimum. They're a great product with no filler and it's low dusting. For best results, use products by Optimum, Menzerna, Pinnacle, Chemical Guys.. All they're products are top notch and will yield the best results. As far as pad choices go, I wouldn't use anything more aggressive than a finishing pad @ low speed on plastic. It takes no time to heat plastic to the point of melting by way of a rotary polisher. I'm an auto/marine detailer, for what it's worth. If you have anymore questions, feel free to ask me. I might be able to help. Good luck! Ryan
  19. Sweet bow, man. I have to ask, though. Why on earth would you shoot a deer in the face? Not trying to start an argument over ethics or anything, but why would you even consider that shot? No other shot available?
  20. Sick bike man. I've been thinking hard about doing flat black on mine, and now I'm sure flat black is the way to go for painted plastics. I love the color of the frame and other parts, too. Great job on a killer Shee!
  21. Very nice non-typical! Can't wait for next season so I can redeem myself for last year. How long have you been an archer?
  22. I'm sure I'm not the only one here who loves to bowhunt. Thought it'd be cool to see what members love bowhunting as much as I do. Maybe even tell a story or post pics. Don't have any pics on this computer, but I started bowhunting just a couple of years ago. My friend convinced me to buy a bow so he would have someone to hunt with, so I did. I bought a nice starter bow: Reflex Bighorn (made by Hoyt) at 60# and 29" draw. Full package brand new was only $400 and it shoots great. Our very first day out, we walked to the edge of the woods at my Grandma's farm, where he went one way and I went the other. 2 hours later my big old Doe was on the ground @ 13yds. What a rush. This past season I got busted by a mature doe because my treestand squeeked when I stood up. She stood there and stomped at me for a few minutes, basically point at me for the other younger Doe to see. She couldn't quite make me out, so when the mature Doe took off and the younger one turned her head to watch her I drew back and settled my 30 yard pin behind her right shoulder. I hit the trigger on my TRU Ball release and thwack! Made a good hit but was a little high. I watched her run away and I texted my friend. He came to meet me at my treestand and we waited a bit, then went after her. We followed the most insane blood trail my friend (who rifle hunts) and myself had ever seen. But, something was wrong. We kept following this mess of a bloodtrail but still no deer. We went in too soon and jumped her. We ended up walking so far in the bush that we were dehydrated and exhausted. We called off the search when we lost the bloodtrail and her tracks met up with a deer highway, so there was no way of following just tracks like we did further back whenever the blood would stop for a distance.. We got back to my treestand and my buddy ranged the shot for me with his rangefinder. 25 yards! I was 5 yards off with my estimation before the shot and placed the shot a littl high. Biggest piss off ever. We did everything possible to retrieve the deer, but it sucked to not verify the kill. I'm buying a rangefinder before next season.
  23. Email sent, Alf. Thanks.
  24. Looking for a nice handlebar. Would like to have TAG T2 1 7/8" or something similar and a riser clamp. Thinking 1 or 2 inches would suffice. Can be new or used. If used, must be in good condition. I have an Iron Cross Bling Star bumper in great shape I'd trade if you want it or I'll pay via paypal. Let me know what you've got.
