Don't be mad or nothing man.....It's just that so many people been gotting over on up here & you had posted gray cylinders & when I asked for pics of the bore you sent me pics of a black cylinder bore, what am I to think....If you read closely enough I constanly said I'm not putting a bad name on you or saying you are get over. Just curious about the pics you sent. & like I said before the pics you sent me had fresh bore with no signs of piston use & the piston you have posted have signs of use. Thats not a pretty match dude with the price dropping so fast....That's all I'm saying, I wish you more than luck on your sales. -

What type of games are you playing noblefart? I just looked closely at the pictures you PM ed me last night of the ported cylinders & the picture of the ported cylinders you have listed for sale. Something is not adding up....The ported cylinders you have listed dont have pictures of the bore. So I asked you to send me some pictures of the bore & the bores look fresh like they have 0 hours on them or a very fresh hone. You told me that they had 10 hours on them. Then as I look very closely at the pictures you PM ed me those cylinders are black & the ported ones you have listed are gray. Whats up with that man?......Not saying your a get over but somethings not adding up. + your prices are now starting to make me think harder. Your prices are dropping rapidly fast for a sale. For anybody that reads this post, I know I dont have many post or alot of feedback but im not a person for getting over on people or saying that noblefart is trying to get over. Im just being cautious. If someone would tell me how to post pics I'll post the pics that he sent me of the fresh black honed cylinders & the gray ported cylinders he have listed.....anybody....Once again Im not putting a bad name on noblefart, just want somebody else opinion really on these cylinders. -

Basically all Im saying is it takes a banshee to beat a banshee!
-
Yes I understand what you are saying cause basically im saying the same thing. The banshee is the only (average) ATV that I know to line up with the larger cc's engine & be confident about winning. But if this was to happen: Example CR500R,KX500,LT500 & a 500cc banshee in a drag race with good set-ups & riders..........Banshee will win.

That sounds realistic.....I take that & run with....Thanks

409 LA Sleeve Big Bore Kit

@jbooker82-that do make alot of sense. Im just gonna bolt my cpi's on it & see how it does. -
Just posting for a friend to see whats the difference in the FMF Fatty & FMF Gnarly?

Nice bike I use to have a 84 ATC 250R they are fast bikes. Im not really worring about him beating me, cause im a much better drag racer from the line than him. Not that he can't ride, cause he is an excellent rider & would beat most of the owner's on banshee hq best time with there own bike. I'm racing to see how many bikes I can put on him with this cr500 cause he ran to it for more power & reliability. & for everybody thats on banshee hq this a friendly race between to cousins that just love to see each other get faster. Nothing like the forum with the two friends with the banshee & LT500....lol.....that was crazy.....But for now he is still working on getting the motor to mount in the frame & line the chain up. I think he's going to send it to a professional fabricator & let them install an align the motor for him. Im wishing him the best of luck, cause I want a fair race. I'll keep everybody posted on the build towards the race. & for all members, I like any bike that is fast exspecially 2strokes. Im a big fan of Suzuki & dont care to much for a Yamaha, but when I rode the Banshee I fell in love with it (banshee) & brought one. That one got stolen & three months later I built a faster one. Now one of my choices for a personal atv is the Banshee. Truth hurts but I won't buy any other yamaha's unless it's a two stroke. & I still love my SUZUKI. Im just a straight up guy & live by whats real & not by ego. I got one question for everybody on banshee hq, since owner's with quad's wanna step-up to the BANSHEE for a drag race. Will you race the BANSHEE, if the displacement is same or 50cc's less than what your displacement is in a heads up drag race & be confident about winning?

409 LA Sleeve Big Bore Kit
252wheelieking replied to 252wheelieking's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
I called LA Sleeve & spoke with the tech. & he recommended FMF Fatties also or CT Racing full exhaust. I asked about CPI's, Shearer's & other pipes, but he said he never tried them pipes with that set-up, so he don't know how they would perform. @ banshee67, I also thought that FMF Fatties would restrict air flow. @ EvilBanshee isnt the FMF Fatty a midrange pipe? I dont know for sure, but im thinking CPI, Shearer or R2's would be a better selection. -
I need some opinions on which exhaust kit to use with the 409 Complete Big Bore top end kit from LA Sleeve? I brought the motor from one of my family members, & the guys he brought it from use to drag race it on dirt 300ft. The set-up was: LA Sleeve 409 complete top end kit dune/drag ported 38mm pwk's w/ uni filter pods 4mm crank +10 advance timing power pro's out of frame exhaust w/ silencers +8 swingarm I wanna install this motor on my stock frame & install some inframe pipes. Im going to use the motor to ride at high speeds & on the sand dunes The set-up im thinking: LA Sleeve 409 complete top end kit dune/drag ported V Force 2 34mm PJ's w/ K&N filter pods 4mm crank +4 timing Banshee HQ choice of the exhaust kit Im just looking for opinions on this motor set-up & what inframe exhaust should I use.

Ok here the deal....My cousin has a TRX450R rolling chassis & just brought a CR500R engine with The FMF Fatty exhaust. First let me get this clear....The reason for him installing this motor in this chassis is because he is tired of rebuilding that 450R motor like it is a 2stroke from cranks/connecting rods locking up & breaking. Plus me on the other end teasing him about how he seems to keeps blowing it up everytime he lines up with my BANSHEE....lol.....IDK maybe the engine knows....lol....But anyway he got a stock CR500R & installing it in the TRX450R rolling chassis. My Banshee set-up is CPI inframes, Coolhead w/21cc domes, wiseco pro lite pistons, dune/drag ported stock cylinders, VF 2 reeds, Boss Racing intake w/ built in crossover tube, 34mm PJ's, Dual K&N filter pods, +4 advance timing, 16T & 40T gearing. We are going to race an 1/8th of a mile when he finish with it, so ladys/gentlemen what you think the outcome will be?
