boiling hot means too much fuel...... either a stuck float, or float lvl being too high. i would tear the carbs down and clean/rebuild if needed. also you might want to clip 1/4 of the plug wires off and screw the boots back on. the right pipe is either loading up with fuel due to either too much fuel, or not burning the fuel coming in.

yes old school 490's are badass, but lets not go as far as saying the are faster than a 1000cc bike unless it's a race in the sand. they were know as "thumpers" back in the day for their hard hitting sound mainly due to the long stroke and compression. in no way is it even close to a usable bike with today's technology. it is mainly for hardcore old school lovers. great looking bike, but don't make it out to be more than it is. enthusiast as myself know what they are. i am just really glad you didn't say it was a 100mph plus bike like most typical newbie's that don't realize most of us here are not retarded.

yes comes with everything. i found a set of carbs i want and are suppose to come with cables. if they do i will let my go with them.

not being a baby, just tired of ppl instigating the issue between me and jason. we agreed on not talking to each other and yet ppl keep adding fuel to the fire. i said my peace to jason a long time ago and have nothing else to say to him, yet i get pm's from his friends telling "i wouldn't go toe to toe with him" never once said i wanted to fight the guy. not saying i wouldn't if that's what it came down to, but what will it accomplish win, or lose? the whole building a motor to beat him is a running joke amongst friends... i won't spend thousands trying to beat one guy, that's retarded imo. just as i told the guy pm'ing me... the moral of the story i don't talk to jason i am not out to fight anyone i am not going to a event to cause issues and i am not the one fueling the issue between me and jason pretty simple. if jason feels differently about the situation (seeing how he is not even the one in here talking) he is more than welcome to call me and we can figure this out. otherwise just drop it. it's a pretty big turnoff to me to see that there will be drama at the meet more than half a year from now.

ok i stopped reading after the first sentence. crank seals have nothing to do with oil getting on the pipe, or packing. (oil ratio and burn ratio does) non castor oils like yamalube don't ignite so residue will always form... if you care to break down that long run on sentence i will try to further help you. thanks
