I want to do this with a set of cascades to. Won't it require cutting one of the silencer mounts off, and remount/weld to be able to be bolted in? Bending the stringers to a bit? I never really looked into, so it may sound stupid lol.

Stock carbs are plenty adequate for your set up. Stockers are good to about 80hp. If you go bigger you'll just lose some low end. If you do want to upgrade s bit, 28s would be alright.
Exactly. I was quite impressed with the cpi's on my dune ported cylinders, I switched to pc's thinking it'd be a big difference and it wasn't really a big drop off or change in power.
