I hooked the vapor up to my 1999 banshee, I had no luck with the tach working, called them, me and the tech went threw everything we could think of, so they sent me a vector, I like this much better, they gave me the remote to for free, and its set up for more racing it had more options than the vapor, I googled my problem and I guess Im not the only one, when in idel the tach read great, when I put the bike in gear or under load the tach would max out and stay there threw all gears, one other thing if you choose to up grade the stator or coil the tach wont read again, also do not hook this up to the sator direct is best to hook it up to a 9v battery, I bought a radioshack box put some foam in it to stop the battery from rolling around than bought a 9v battery connector and wired it up, the stock stator is to crazy and messes with the tach, any questions e-mail me at
