  1. ok so i took some measurements. I measured the amount the head was milled and i'm getting 2mm also TOP of exhaust port to deck is 28.5 mm also when i measure with piston all the way down to deck i'm getting 2.07 on 1 side and 2..08. the pistons say 513 on top with some writing inbetween and then6450 so i'm assuming it is 64.5 mm piston.. I need to take more measurment for the porting i'm sure just wanted to put head back on and do a compression test. can you tell me where i should be on compression and also why would my rod not be even measuring to stock?

  5. what do you mean by cylinder deck. the top or bottom. new at the banshee world and just learning.
  6. ok guys so i pulled the head to try and determine what it is exactly that i have. I miked the cylinders and i'm getting 64mm can't read the top of pistons due to build up. the carbs are 35 mm and the head looks to be milled. i put my calipers on where the bolt would sit and the other end on the head and i'm getting 21.34 mm not sure what a stock one is. i also put piston to the bottom and measured with a tape measure and i'm getting 2inches. not sure how acurate this is but don't know how to measure otherwise. i need to pull carbs and look at ports but the exhaust looks to be ported. will post pics of the head later. let me know what ya think.
  7. Hey guys just trying to get prepaired for future. if I go with a 4 mil build what is better long rod or stock and what is the +and- of both. and why go with one or the other?

  19. Hey guys i'm new to the forums. and also a soon to be new banshee owner. I currently have a trx450r that i'm looking to trade cause i wanna go fast.. the bike i'm looking at is a 460 can't remember the carb size. the guy is not to sure of alot of things but i would assume that would be possible a 4mil crank as well. can you guy's give me some pointers on what to look for. also is a 460 still a duneable moter? like I said i'm new to the banshee world so just learning.
