  1. Nice shee, a little dissapointed you didn't keep that beautiful green side cover tho.
  2. Bump - these would be perfect for any mx-ers running 18s
  3. not sure what kind some 2 part stuff from hardware store. guy said i could actually fill hole with epoxy and tap it like metal but didn't try that
  4. epoxied mine and it came loose again
  5. Got a set of hiper 8" Tech 3 rears single bead lock for sale. Yamaha bolt pattern. Honda as well but one of the holes needs welded. Will sell with or without 20" RARZ 1 tires. $250 no tires shipped or pickup in cleveland Oh area. Email or text for fastest response. Jason 440-343-eleven sixty or [email protected]. The 20" tires shown are also for sale for $50 or I have 18" razr rears for sale for $50 as well that fit on these rims and razr mx fronts.
  6. There are several varieties of of chrome powder that look real good when fresh. After it wears a little it looks dull though. I powder coat all my own parts & have done the chromes.
  7. Yea I am getting a reading of 15,500 on the ohm meter from one spark plug boot to the other. I've tested every wire in the harness and all have continuity from one end to the other. Yea the voltage regulator has a good ground, paint is sanded off frame at mounts. Will have to look at the black/white wire, don't recall seeing that one. yea stator checks out in spec with ohm meter and pick-up coil is gapped at .018. I think i will try swapping out the flywheel from my running banshee next. Not sure what else it could be.
  8. did that and took coil of running 2 different running banshee's and still no spark.
  9. So if that is unplugged up front but wires are connected at CDI it shouldn't cause no spark?
  10. Not sure the on I got off NYUK looked a little different. It had a eyelet for the ground and the you had on the quad had a different style ground that had a u shaped clip that the screw went through. The yellow & black leads you swapped out are testing fine. Need to get my hands on a flywheel puller so I can re-look at the stator & grounding. I borrowed one but left it in a buddys toolbox whos now in Ytown.
  11. Looking at the electrical FAQ page & by process of elimination I think this is the parking brake harness plug. If the other end of these two wire are still seated in the CDI harness plug and not getting good contact could that cause no spark?
  12. Yea i've been using the same meter cause i only have one. When i check the stator on my black running banshee I get the proper output per oem specs. So I don't think its the meter. Yea i checked & its getting good ground at coil, regulator. What I was saying is I wonder if i installed the ground wire on the stator harness wrong. All the connections were tight but with the tester am finding some aren't getting good contact from dirt etc. BTW i wanna come get those tires soon.
  13. Pulled the harness out last night and started checking every wire for continuity. So far all are testing good except green with yellow stripe bounces around for a while then zeros out. Still have more to test. Is there a way to test for a good ground?
  14. yep its good, thanks tho
  15. I am still stuck....NO Spark, getting frustrated Pick-up coil gap is spot on at .018. Installed new used stator from NYUK that tested per spec off the bike. Now as it sits installed its giving a weird reading. The lighting coil resistance should be per the manual .26-.38. The stator i removed tests .4 when i hold the ground wire down to it. The new stator I installed is testing 2.3? Is there a specific way the stator ground should be connected? i just screwed the eye 2@ end of ground wire to the back of the timing plate into a threaded hole. Pick-up coil resistance on new installed stator test spot on. Spec is 94-140 and ohm meter is showing 130. Also charging coil resistance is right on. Coil test fine & tried coil off running shee. CDI was also swapped off running bike. Flywheel is pretty clean & has good magnetic to it. What should i look at next?
  16. sy1177 has got one, shoot him a PM he's local to me & a good dude
  17. what condition is that front bumper in? any dents or cracks in end caps?
  18. is the chrome stem oem & is it 7/8" or 1-1/8" bars?
  19. Adjusted the pick-up gap and that gave it some spark but still isn't wanting to fire. Motor is fresh 10hrs and feels like it has compression. Not sure what we r gonna try next.
  20. Banshee was running fine at silver lake then started to bog and just shut off and puked a little coolant. Diagnosed a bad stator so NYUK sent me a new one. Here's what we've checked so far: Installed new stator and tested it with ohm meter and its good Swaped coil off running banshee Swaped CDI off running shee Unpluggerd TORS module - no tors on carbs Checked factory shut-off switch Installed new plugs Anything else we should check?
  21. Need a good banshee stator asap. I'm on way from silver lake to MIO MI on trip so if anyone in area has one or someone can do overnight shipping please call or text me. Jason 440-343-1160
  22. x2 don't mess with them just save up & buy nice used ones. everyone i know that's tried it was not happy with the results and wasted days sanding.
  23. Thanks for everything guy. Very good dude to deal with. Can't wait to tear it up on this thing!
