My 06 yfz is faster than my shee. yfz has pipe, cam mod, FCI intake, Venom piston stock bore. My shee is a fresh .60 over, wisecos, cool head 20cc, and fmf pipes. Its pretty close between the two but on a 150 yard drag the yfz pulls on top end.
damn that blows. will keep an eye out for it, im always looking at craigslist in cleveland, columbus & youngstown. hopefully it will turn up.
my buddy had is brand new last year 06 stolen this summer with no insurance, still looking for that one.
are there longer idle screws for the banshee carbs to allow more idle adjustment up? my idle is turned all the way in and still seems pretty low. tors has been removed. top end is fresh and leakdown test is good.
i will be there with a big group, stop by and see us. look for the 20ft enclosed trailer with Honda on the side and my black shee. there are 16 of us headed up.
we usually park about 2/3 of the way up towards the entrance all the way to the left by the access trail
Michigan ORV sticker is $16.50
Silver lake park annual pass is $29
Day pass is about $6-$8 and is required on both atv and truck pulling. So take minimum amount of tow vehicles with maximum amount of quads on the trailer to save some $. You can also tow quads in behind your car/ truck without trailer. Also if anyone has multiple quads for one person stick the ORV sticker to duct tape so you can switch it from one machine to another versus buying two.
If you won't be back in 2010 just get the day passes when pulling into the park. That way if it rains a day you just don't buy a pass that day.
Last and most important is ask the DNR how the parking pass voucher works on the weekends. On friday and saturday nights at 8pm (i think) you have to go down the street, park behind a white line and wait for a ranger to lead the group to the DNR office. Then you pick up a voucher to get a parking pass. This is a very important step if you want to get into the park early in the morning, without the voucher you have to wait till after 10 I think to get into the parking lot. They do this to give everyone a fair chance at getting into the park since on the weekends it fills up fast.
Good luck, I will be there this Friday - Sunday. Pm me if you have any other questions.

i use a commercial degreaser called SF77. spray on and rinse off. takes all discoloring right off tires, cuts grease all in one, works better than anything i've tried including the stuff rocky mountain sells http://damonq.com/TechSheets/SF-77Rad.pdf
there are 3 rooms with 2 beds per room and in the main room 2 big couches + a pull out bed. 10 can sleep pretty comfortable. they do have another trailer about 200 feet behind the main one that will sleep another 6 or so but its not as nice.
there is a firering in the back, and spot for 2 trucks with 18ft trailers and 2 spots in front of the garage to right of cabin that will hold 2 trucks with 20ft trailers.
not sure if you can see this pic of the trailer or not
