  1. IVE RUN TWO VITOS RACING ENGINES BUILT BY MYSELF AND HAD GREAT SUCCESS.. VITOS PERFORMANCE PRODUCTS !!
  2. the domes on the cool head should have a stamp on each of them saying what cc they are.. just call vitos if you decide to use there products and they will get it running great..
  3. hey phill, i have run the vitos forged super stock pistons for three years at 65mm.. ran great with stock carbs and the vitos 4mill stock rod crank.. arm rippin torqe.. had the fmf fatty pipes and vforce 3 reeds and kn filter no lid on the box.. the bike had loads of bottom and mid... the pistons have a notched out front by the exhaust port to create a simulated port job letting exhaust gas escape sooner and letting the engine rev a bit harder.. was a fun set up...

  5. hey guys ....what the best timing setting for the vitos 68mm full drag ported cylinders??? 34mm pj carbs and podds with outer wears>> im at +4 now ..

  7. na man if anything is perfect on idle..tiny bit fat in the mid...top looks great but a bit rich.. wont pull real hard on a load in 5th and 6th gear..like it a bit rich thow for the higher rpm range!
  8. yes ..i torqed it the way it said.. no leaks either.. plugs look great. ... no collant escaping into the cylinders..

  11. hey guys HELP... vitos 421 full drag port ... 4mill vitos stock rod crank, 34mm kehin pj carbs , 172 mains .needles 3rd from bottom.pilots 32, elevation 1100ft... fmf fattys ..kn pods ,timing +4 ...hemi head 2 with 22cc domes . pro flow billet intakes with v force 3 reeds.. i installed a billet high flow impellar too! plenty of oil ....32 to 1 mix... and high octane fuel....mixed it 50/50 115 and 93 oct.. dam thing keeps heating up and bubbling into the reserve tank when not MOVING through the wind!! runs great other wise but a little rich in the mid..WHAT WOULD CAUSE THIS..THE BIGGER PISTONS...? .the engine only has 2 hrs total on it.. cant barelly be ridden in the woods! any help or comments would help .... thanks

  13. YOU GUYS ARE TOTALLY RIGHT THOW, I VE HAD FMF FATTYS ON THE STOCK ENGINE WITH 260 MAINS... HAD IT ON A SET OF .30 OVER FORGED SUPER STOCK PISTONS AND A 4 MILL CRANK STOCK CARBS AT 330 MAINS.... MY NEWEST SET UP IS A 421 BIG BORE 10 PORT DRAG PORTED VITOS SETUP AND THEY ARE DOIN A FANTASTIC JOB LOVE THE FATTYS !! WHO NEEDS BIG BORE PIPES WHEN YOU HAVE THE FATTYS!!

I OFTEN WONDER WHAT THE DIG BORE SHEARS WOULD DO FOR THE ENGINE,, it run great now thow with the fmf fattys. i had the raise the main jets to a 172 . plugs were to gray . it effn flies. my buddy took it for a rip and didnt wanna give it back!! he was amazed at the transformation. kuddos to vitos products and wisco . great people and the tech support is outstanding! thanks for the help guys !!
  18. mine was lean on a 165 main.. went to a 168 main and looked a bit better.. goin to a 172 or 175 and work from their. its too warm with a 168.
  19. wow man ,, it wants more fuel with a 168 main . plugs both were a greyish light brown tint. i want it richer.... 170 or 172 should do ? i do know one thing thow ......... very impressive from mid to top side with the drag ported jugs!! they have triple exhaust ports also.. too dam cool man ..
  20. thanks for the info guys.. got the mains at 165 and pilots at 57.needle are on 4th from the top. semms a bit snappy .who said fmf fattys wont rev!!. didnt get to rip it yet thow . waiting on the pods from my mail man !! i will post more in a few days !!
  21. just put together a 4mill stock rod 68mm big bore drag ported vitos motor. it has triple exhaust ports and was running on the stock carbs . the mains were at 390 and the vitos long needles were on the 4th down. yuk!! too rich.. dropped the needle to 3rd down and rejetted to a 370... too warm i think. now im gonna change the whole carb set up to Keihin 34mm carbs with billet intakes. im gonna run the fatty pipes to help with the bottom and use the hemi head ll with 21cc domes on pump gas. it has the rickeys 200 watt stator and timing is set at 4 degree adv. ther is no air box . k n pods is it..... WERE DO I START IN THE JETTING ... they came with 160 and 162 mains .. were should i put the needles!! my elevation is 1200 ft. any suggestions are welcome russ
  22. use 110 octane race gas.. anything over 140psi is to dangerous for pump gas.
  23. i went with 22cc domes per my engine tech. he wants my compression around 150 to 160 max. im running pump gas also. got the 4mill stock rod crank and vitos 68mill 10 port drag ported juggs with the hemi head. stock carbs with mains @390 and pilots at 32 goin into fmf fattys . k and n filter cleans it.
  24. try a 360 or 370 main. it will run great
