  1. Thanks dude! SOMEONE BUY MY HALF BOTTLE OF PREMIX DAMNIT!
  2. You could try PMing Alf44. I believe he has them in stock and is a site sponsor. He'll help you out. He hooked me up big time!
  3. I wouldn't waste your time with a key. Just buy the plate and be done with it. I've heard numerous horror stories of keys shearing off.
  4. Good eye... They sure are! I dunno man... This guy sketches me out. Tiny pics, multiple for sale ads, Paddles on backwards. I dunno, may be legit, but good luck anyways.
  5. Oh, that's right, you said you didn't want junk. Once daddy gets his he-man hammer out, those things will be toast. Good luck on the hunt!
  6. PM ELKA, I heard he's going to be selling his rockets soon.
  7. The majority of banshee stuff seems to be in the Arizona/Nevada area, actually. One question though... if it was completely stock and hardly ridden, how on God's green earth did the guy have to put $2700 in work into it? It was obviously ridden if someone recently dumped $2700 and DIDN'T mod it. I'm suprised you can spend that much on a stock motor... Who knew?
  8. Buy a QUALITY H6M HID conversion kit. They're kinda hard to find, but I just finished doing a conversion on my buddy's bike, and everyone was concerned about them getting too hot. We had an old set of junk plastic lens stock headlights... wired them both up to a 12v power source, and left them on overnight... in the morning, they were still cool to the touch. INSANELY bright... for around 100 bucks (depending on what HID kit you buy) probably the absolute best lighting mod for the money. Xentec's are actually very good kits for an off the shelf brand. Go with a color temp of around 5000k, the lower the kelvin temp, the more VISIBILE light, the human eye can see, but also the more yellow. We tried a 5000k, and a 6000k kit. the 5000k was still white as white could be, the 6000k had about the same light output as the 5000k, with more of a bluish tint. There are guys in our group that we go with that run those xentec kits on anything from raptors, 450's, teryx's, RZR's.... Anything, you name it. I think out of the 12-20 Xentec kits that are out there, MAYBE 1 person has had issues in the last two years. Good luck! PM me if you want some more info.
  9. This sounds like it might just be a coincidence. Reminds me of back in the day when I worked for a Ford dealer. We called them "ever since" customers. "Ever since you rotated my tires, I don't get my favorite radio station anymore". I would agree with most people here. Something probably got un plugged. Likely if something was pinched and is grounded now, it wouldn't start at all. Atleast you've got that going for you!
  10. K&N is now on eBay for $30 shipped. PICK IT UP!!!
  11. LOL, There's a reason I asked it the way I did. They don't look too great. SOME people have said they like them, but it makes the machine not even look like a banshee anymore. There was a guy in the For Sale section a month or two ago, that pretty much couldn't GIVE them away. Now do you see why?
  12. I can definitely appreciate the usefulness of that product. But does it come with a gun rack and a winch as well? I'd use all three "compartments" for coolers...
  13. You didn't buy the raptor style plastics, did you?
  14. I, personally have the cascade ones. He bought some Billet Aluminum ones that Alba had in stock. The threads stripped out eventually, and cracked. The ones I have from Cascade are Stainless, I believe...
  15. Yeah, probably should post some pics, and the location...
  16. WHEELS AND TIRES SOLD! $35 Shipped for the K&N? Anyone?
  17. Damnit, you're right. I guess I won't be going THAT weekend. Maybe the weekend after... I'm giving Pasi first dibs at the wheels. He's deciding right now, but I've also got some guy who emailed me yesterday that wanted to come and get them today. We'll see what happens, I'll keep you posted.
  18. Okay, I think I understand this post. You bought a set of white maier race cut front fenders, and you want to know whether or not you should sell them, and buy new shiny ones rather than refinishing the ones you have, correct? I personally think that if you CAN get 60 bucks for them, and it's only going to cost you 30 bucks to NOT have to do the work to refinish them, sell them and buy the new ones. Sanding plastics is very time consuming... and I HATE sanding...
  19. I used to live like 5 minutes from Alba. They were just a regular ole Yamaha dealer. They did have a "race team" that blew royal ass. They are no longer a dealership anymore, and ONLY have their race team left. They used to be one of the biggest and most reputable Yamaha dealers in San Diego county, but have since closed. I think they went out of business about two years ago. They had just moved into this massive new showroom in Poway, and apparently when the economy took a shit, so did Alba. You guys are all correct. I have a buddy who fell into the Alba trap in 03 who bought the "Alba Edition" LE Banshee from them. The reason he bought the "Alba" one, is because it was only $550 over stock, and he got his choice of pipes/silencers, the pro-flow adapter/k&n, and wheels and tires. It was cheaper to order the "Alba Edition" than it was to buy a stocker and mod it. This is his bike, and this is how it came from Alba minus the yellow hubs, billet pipe clamps (junk, by the way), and polished silencers.
  20. DAMN Phelps... If I didn't just incur $50g's in the hospital last week, this bitch would be mine. Good luck man...
  21. Yeah, they're the same ones on Craigslist. You didn't email me from the CL posting, did you? Unfortunately Easter is a pretty important holiday for my Fiancee's family so that weekend is out for me. I was going to try to go the weekend of the 3rd, but I'm not sure yet.
