  1. Not sure on the material. Is there any way to tell without stripping it? It weighs 12.4lbs as it sits right now.
  2. I'm not sure what brand it is, but when I got it, I was told it was a +2, but it's not. It's stock length. 19" center to center. Comes with only what's pictured. No bearings or anything else, just the swinger and the two spacers. It doesn't appear to ever have been ran. There's no dings, dents, or scratches anywhere. I think it's just primered. First $125 bucks takes it. Shipping is extra. I only charge the actual shipping costs. I am located in Temecula, CA and local pickup is alright too.
  3. Well, now that I know it's stock length... It'll be going up for sale.
  4. Hm... if 19" is correct, it's a stock length... wtf do I have here... lol
  5. Any idea on brand? I've looked through as many as I could find on google, and none match up...
  6. I got this swingarm in a box of parts that I traded for, and need a little help identifying it. The guy said "it has the honda style carrier". I think he was just referring to the roundhouse carrier. Was told it was a +2. Any help?
  7. That's a pretty tough vid to watch... pretty damn young...
  8. Yes. Remove the shock from the bike, flip it upside down, and with the help of a buddy... one of you compress the spring with your hands, or two big flathead screwdrivers, and the other person remove the spring retainer. It will be "C" shaped, and slides out over the shaft.
  9. Thanks secretary. He is right. Stay tuned. =)
  10. I'm assuming you are referring to syncing the carbs. That tube that runs between the two, is called a choke tube. Since these carbs only have a choke on one side, that tube applies "choke" to both carbs, when the one side is pulled out. It is possible to do it without the tool, available from F.A.S.T., but I recommend you invest in one of the tools from Jeff.
  11. It was fireball who made them for the YFZ shocks.
  12. Bump for bobby. He's legit... I've bought from him, and plan on doing business again in the future.
  13. Throw some pics my way, and we might just have an even swap...
  14. Bump! Might be open to trades... looking for some 28 or 30 PWK's with cable.
  15. There was an old one that is now in the roostin' room.
  16. Oh, that makes sense... duh... Are the +2 arms you have designed for stock length shocks? or longer shocks? If they are designed for stock length, aftermarket YFZ shocks designed for STOCK LENGTH yfz arms, would probably WORK, but not be optimal, as stock length on YFZ shocks is 16.25". Stock length on banshee shocks is 14.75.
  17. Well, stock YFZ arms on a shee are +2 each side. So +2 YFZ arms, would be like +4 each side. +8 total... It'd be wide as hell...
  18. Alright, I've got this set of 450 shocks, that I bought with the intent on using for a project. Plans changed, so now I've got these puppies sitting around collecting dust. I am located just north of Temecula, CA. Asking $230 shipped to anywhere in the lower 48, via USPS *PRIORITY*! I don't make people pay the 3% paypal fee. It's the cost of doing business, and I accept that. Do: Expect these to be in awesome condition, and work flawlessly. Expect the shocks to be packed and shipped safely, and in a timely manner. Expect that if you aren't happy for any reason, I'll take em back, granted they are returned in the same condition as when you received them. Leave me some positive feedback when the deal's done. Don't: Expect the polishing to be "ree_ree" quality. One shock's polishing is better than the other, but with some elbow grease, or a trip to ree_ree, they could be awesome.
  19. Die grinder, and a carbide bit... I run the Wildcard ported cages with CF dual stage reeds... I love em.
  20. Haha, my first ride on a banshee, I was hooked! You're screwed.... get that lt250r up for sale! You're in the market for another banshee!
  21. The SAME ones? From EBAY? You have lost your mind, my friend... You realize Dean Sundahl uses the Chromoly TEFLON heims in every photo I've ever seen. It's clear you don't know there is a difference in heims. The ones you used, are the cheapest option available. I do know one thing, for a fact. If dean sundahl saw the way you Frankensteined that thing on there, he SURE AS HELL would not get on that bike a ride it. I don't understand how you can argue that it is safe? You frankensteined a heim, where it doesn't belong, at a ridiculous angle, and stuck a bolt through it. If you MUST buy an eBay heim... use THIS HEIM: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/fk-rod-end-jmx10t-5-8-inch-heim-joint-tie-rod-end-_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem562732607aQQitemZ370024800378QQptZRaceQ5fCarQ5fParts I am all for using heims on suspension. Every setup I ever built was heimed everywhere... that's not my point. My point is that at the time of purchasing, you were ignorant to the fact that there are different kinds of heims. That's not your fault... I'm just trying to educate you, and possibly save your life. If you want to argue, for once, I'm not going to do it. But I do have to ask the question.... why didn't you just replace the ball joint? You know on those YFZ arms, they are replaceable, right?
  22. That confuses me, and also kinda grosses me out.
  23. I'll trade you a soggy napkin and one of those sticky hands.
  24. Oh, this is horse shit....
  25. You know what? I just found it! It was hidden underneath the "how to put a street bike motor into a banshee frame" book... Silly me.
