  1. To hold the flywheel in place so I can tighten/loosen the nut...? I don't really see where there could be any confusion....
  2. these are about the only stickers i would put on my banshee got one on my jeep too!
  3. Strap wrenches just weren't doing it for me so I decided to make a simple flywheel holder. Started with some aluminum track from the Bimini top that was on my boat. I cut to the desired length and drilled 2 holes the right distance apart for the holes in the flywheel. Then I slid 2 3/8" nuts into the track and threaded 2 3/8"x1" bolts into the nuts through the holes. Then I just had to grind it in a notch so the socket would fit on the flywheel nut. And there you go. Wont cost more than a couple bucks if you have the track. Really simple to make And makes removing the flywheel a hell of a lot easier.
  4. how are you guys testing your psi that low?
  5. thats awesome. keep it up i want to see the finished product. looks way better than stock and cut
  6. I did it exactly how this guy did it in his a-arm mod thread and his worked out perfectly, i just extended mine a little bit for more width. don't give me shit if you don't like my work. You don't have to ride it so stop bitching http://bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=105318
  7. Trust me I cleaned it really well. There is heat discoloration. I grinded it before it took the pictures.
  8. A mig. Its not as bad as it looks in the pic trust me
  9. Welded up the bottom arms today. Not as clean as it would be if I used a tig but I think they came out alright. The way i set them up at the right angle is i installed the shocks and arms and set the front end down on blocks at the right ride height so i would have the standing weight on the shocks and i just welded in the bungs level with the ground. So there should be more than enough travel in both directions for the ball joints. If anyone knows where I can find a tap that is the right size for those ball joints please let me know. I have been to every hardware store and autoparts store in my area and no one has one. I an going to go to the local machine shop later to see if he has one that he will let me use or will do it for me. I also indented the shock mounts for the yfz shocks.

  20. well i pulled my clutch apart and dried the bad oil off of all the friction and separator plates and put everything back together and its still not disengaging, the plates are all sticking together. i guess i need a new clutch. what kit to you guys recommend? im on a really tight budget so im looking for anything that will work, not necessarily the best. im getting a new clutch basket next week. also what trans oil do you guys recommend? should i stay with my 10w30 clutch saver or should i go to atf type f or belray or something else?
