ELKA's, sell or trade

I got these shocks from a fellow hq member and they are really nice shocks, but they are just too long for my yfz 450. I need a shock that is 18-18.5" eyelet to eyelet. These elka's are 19.5" eyelet to eylet. I have pics, just send me your email address and I will send you pics. I'd prefer to trade them rather than sell them, but if someone has cash then I'll sell em. I DO NOT want stock banshee shocks are some old junky blown out shocks you've had laying around for years, so dont waste my time. I have houser +2 longtravel a-arms on my yfz so that is what I am needing the shorter shocks for. I believe my elka's are triple rate shocks, just not sure what stage they are.

What kind of triple rates do you have and what do they measure from eyelet to eyelet? PM me and I can help you with the yfz450 shocks. I did it on my bike and its easy. I dont wanna murder this guys thread, so PM me and Ill walk you through the yfz shock issues. These are nice 450 shocks for damn sure and will accomodate your banshee well. -

It will take ya 20 mins to grind an 1/8" off the bottom of the shock mounts on the frame. I did it to mine and installed mine within 30 minutes. Its an awesome upgrade to stock shitty banshee shocks. Buy em because you're gonna spend 3 to 4 times the money on a set of elka's. -

I didnt do much, I just posted em up for sale for him and u two did the rest. Hope ya like em brotha! -
Great buyer, He doesnt F around and haggle and kick tires. He bent over backwards for me and waited for me to get back from the HQ ride to take of the carbs and ship them out to him. He couldve just said F it and go somewhere else to buy, but he didnt, he gave me time to take em off and get em to him.

CJ recently purchased a set of pipes from me. He was prompt on payment and great communication during the buying process. Stand up guy to talk to on the phone and doesnt stand around and kick tires. He knows what he wants and expects the best. I hope you like the pipes and I know you will like the performance of them.

UPDATE: "Banshee 268" pm'd me last night and I made a mistake with the wheels I sent him. I bought the wheels several months ago and was told they were 8" wheels. I took the guys word for it and never measured em or mounted tires on em. I found a set of wheels with tires already mounted so i no longer had a use for the ones I bought. Banshee 268 said he wanted the supposed 8's that I bought and never mounted. I sold em to him and come to find out they are 9's. It was an honest mistake on my behalf and was not intentional. Being as I never mounted them or measured em I assumed they were 8's like I was told. Banshee 268, I apologize for the mistake and it WAS NOT intentional.

When the pipes arrived, it took me 20 mins to actually get to the pipes because there was so much bubble wrap, structure cardboard and newspaper wrapped around em. I'd rather have that issue than have em wrapped in a towel like I had another time with another member. After talking to him on the phone, I could def draw a picture of his character and that he was an upfront guy. I couldnt be happier. I am honestly impressed with the pipes and their condition. Like I told him ystrday on the phone, "did you ever use the damn things, they look brand new". Im afraid to even mount em on my bike because they are so damn shiney.

Exactly! Im not just agreeing because Cam is my builder, but you bought up a good point Cam. The bikes Newt was riding and beating a majority of the full out drag bikes with, nobody knows who built those. And like ur 525 cheetah, that bike didnt even run 2 days before sandfest! Which brings me to another point, Cam ur 480 is a bike built with a bunch of thrown together parts and basically a mix and match that dominates. Cam, uve built some amazing running machines and that includes my bike. My lil 4mill cub on pumpgas wit 22cc domes held its own and was even faster when Newt was riding it. -
WOW!! Bought a set of CPI's off of him and HOLY SANTA CLAUSE SHIT!!! They were absolutley perfect!! I called him and asked him ift the damn things have ever been mounted they were so perfect. Eventhough he doesnt have many posts, he's and awesome dude and amazing communication. If anyone ever doubts what he says, ur the fuckin idiot cuz his stuff is top notch.

He told me $400 shipped for the pipes and stingers. I havent seen em in a couple weeks but im positive they are still in damn good shape. He's supposed to bring em to my place this afternoon so I can get some photos and have em here. He works crazy hours so Ill sell em for him.
