  1. yeah you are very lucky my banshee got stolen last year at the end of september and i havent seen it since. Ive been torn ever since it disappeared i live in NJ maybe mines in camden too lol.
  2. I am in South Jersey, i notified the police, made a report, gave them a picture. Its got a 450 front end with ltr 450 shocks, not many around like that so it sticks out. Not saying that whoever stole it didnt change that already tho. no insurance, no hits on craigslist yet. FML
  3. THIS JUST IN I WOKE UP THIS MORNING AND SHEES GONE! I DOUBT ANY OF YOU WILL EVER SEE IT, BUT IF YOU DO PLEASE LET ME KNOW!!!
  4. Front tires is a bit flat but you can see my front suspension a bit here, yfz450 front end with ltr 450 shocks.
  5. I think this is the first pic ever of my quad on bhq. Check out my new swingarm setup from ace fabrication.
  6. is the play on the hubs side to side or rotational? if its side to side you need to tighten the axle nuts, but if u get rotational thats the splines on the hubs/axle. As for the bearings if you take the axle off and grab the inner race and wiggle it and it has play you should replace them. Its easier to replace a bearing thats in one piece rather than one that is in many pieces throughout your carrier.
  7. Im looking to get a -1. My front end is already +1 so i figured -1 in the back would be more traction and stock wheelbase
  8. Ive seen this happen twice before. Once was on my buddies banshee, the throttle cable was wrapped around something and sticking, after we played with the throttle cable and gave it some slack it was okay. The other time was years ago when I first started getting into banshees. My dad and I had just rebuilt his banshee and were in the process of tuning it when it suddenly got pinned. I think that was due to the choke tube not being installed so carb tuning was way out of wack. It was pretty crazy tho, kill switch off, spark plug boots removed, it still kept going, and to make it worse this was the first time it was started after being rebuilt, talk about a rough break-in.
  9. I have mine on the hose between the head and the rad, which is the upper hose. I figured hot fluid into the top cools down through the rad and exits out the bottom to be pumped back into motor.
  10. Well what im saying is, I want to buy this chariot setup now, and plan on porting it towards the end of the year. I just dont want to have to buy yet another set of cages and reeds after the port work gets done.
  11. Well If you take the cylinders off than you might as well do a topend rebuild and get your cylinders ported, and get an after market head. If your doing the tranny might as well get a clutch, pancake bearing, and waterpump impellar. If your bike is all stock right now id recommend putting your money into what needs to be replaced, and also pipes, air filter, and a jet kit.
  12. Im in the market for new reeds right now. Im looking into the chariot performance ones http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=280468380579&viewitem=&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWAX%3AIT. Only thing is at the end of the year I plan on rebuilding my motor and getting an mx port. I think I'm gonna go with HJR, its 600 to port the jugs and get a top end kit through them. What I am wondering is after I get the port work done, will I need to get different cages or reeds?
  13. x3... removing the lid without rejetting will make it run horribly.
  14. you should post up some pics I want to see this setup
  15. So I take it that would be whats in this picture here.
  16. So I was out tearin up the pit, was coming across a straight away and went from 4th gear, 5th gear, then 6th. When in 6th I started to slow down for a turn, dropped a few gears and the shifter got stuck. It seemed like it was stuck in 3rd, wouldnt shift any lower, but would go into 4th gear and the shift lever would be up higher than normal. I couldnt shift into any other gears, just between those 2 (I could possibly be wrong and it might of been 4th gear and 5th gear but it felt like 3rd and 4th to me) I decided it was a good time to leave, after cruising down the street for a mile or so shifting through just 2 gears, all of the sudden it let me shift into all gears like normal. I didnt ride it much after this because I was already on the way home, but I shifted through all the gears a few times and it was smooth. I just want to know what some other people think about this. Should I worry? Should I get the tranny checked out? Should I just keep running it until it breaks? I just dont want to end up having to replace a bunch of parts when I could of just replaced one earlier.
  17. Its just for safety, its a Throttle Override Switch. You can disconnect it by unplugging the the 2 lines going to your carbs and the line going to a small device mounted under your gas tank above left cylinder. There are kits available to eliminate the system by adding an idle screw to each carb and replacing the carb tops and throttle cable with regular ones.
  18. Before you buy plugs you can try swapping them. Ive done this before and it rode decent enough to get me home to get some new ones. Also if you swap and it does the same thing just the opposite side is firing now, than you know for sure its the plugs
  19. Thanks for the replys. I just ordered one so I'll let you all know what I think.
  20. Just make sure that along with the cable and carb tops that you get a drill bit, tap, and idle screw. Without those 3 important things you will have no idle adjustment.
  21. I got +2s Fullflights on my banshee and I hit a stump pretty hard before, somehow popped my brand new tire but my tierods are still straight
  22. Tusk makes one im pretty sure, I got one off of ebay.
