  1. So I Am replaceing the rubber boots on my control arms and a arms. They are easy enough to get off, but putting them back on is harder then I thought. Dose any one know a way to get that ring back over the boot with out streching it out, or tearing the new boot ? Thanks for the help!
  2. I am about to put my crank seals back in, I know I am to pack the seals with greese, dose this mean fill the hollow side of the seal with greese? If so why kind of greese should I use.....thanks for the help.
  3. hey there banshee friends. i just finished putting my bottom end back together new seals and all, but i forgot to pack my crank seals with grease. Do u think it will be alright? cause i really dont want to split my case again. also in the seal kit the small real thick seal is for the water pump?
  4. I am putting my bottom end back together, and when I was testing my shifting without the tranny in, it went through all the gears pretty smooth, little tough to go into 6 th but it go's. Once I put the gears in and close the case , some time it will go all the way through no problem, other time it won't make it in to 6th. And some time the rocker arm gets stuck on the point of the shifter star makeing it hard for the gears to turn Smooth, I have to really give it a good shake to make it go in to gear. I am sure I have it installed correct, do u think it will be easier to shift once the gears are in motion?

  6. Hey I was wondering what u thought of a chrome frame. I have a chance to get one should I or should I just get the powder coating? Some one told me the chrome will crack in a matter of time.

  8. Last summer I built a shee. I bought a rolling chass. It came with a +8. my motor is pushin almost 60hp.I am being told I am loseing atleast 5 bike lenghts useing that +8. Is this true? Would a plus 6 work better?
  9. I have a chrome +8 and only pushin 55hp I need a +6 or maybe +4 let me know what u got.
  10. Hey guys thanks for talkin me into taking apart my shee. When I took off the cool head the o-ring on the left was shot and let coolent into my head and f@&d it. God damn modquad head. Going to mill my stock head so it don't happen agian . Anyways this is some pic of what I found.
  11. This is a small chip in my left piston. Dose any one know what might cause this? Should I worry about this?
  12. so is the spring broke?? can i put it back in the seal? or iam i going to have to replace the seal? i think it happend when i did a leak down test.
  13. today I took off my stator cover and found this small spring about 3 in, sitting on the lip of my crank case behind the fly wheel. I am not sure where it came from or where it goes, maybe the stator . It's a 180 Ricky stator. Anyways if u recognizes this thin spring let me know . Thanks
  14. Hey there, can any one tell me the diff. Between the 4 mill 110 rods and 115? I think one is longer then the other. But what's the performance Differance? Why one. Over the other?

  16. you can sync and clean those carbs all you want but the only way to get maxium potential out of your banshee, is not to be cheep, and get it dynoed
  17. I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM, IT WAS THE FRONT CRANK SEAL WAS LETTING IN OIL. THATS WHY THERE WAS OIL IN YOUR PIPE
  18. yes my tors are removed, i am running 35 mm carbs. i also have plenty of spark, there is gas in the bowl and i have cleand the carbs, the only thing i have not tryied is the compression test, but i will, thanks for the advise.
  19. i just rebuilt my banshee, and when i went to start it for the first time it was a no go. i think there is no fuel getting to cylinders, how can i find out if this is true?
