i have a 2003 ltz400 for sale/trade i would like to trade it for any sport quad really above 350 unless it is a 250R the bike has a yoshimura slip on silencer dg front bumper and ac nerfbars stock d.i.d. rear wheels and tires (that need replaced about 10% tread left) and polished front rims and holeshot mx tires also has e meier hood everything seems to be straight on it the engine is out right now because the inner case needs welded i have a couple patches made up for it out of an old set of banshee cases so it can be welded now. i have pictures just text me at 419 908 5918 for a picture or leave an e-mail address and i will send them through e-mail let me know. really interested in a banshee also have some stuff i could throw in on a trade like a nitro r/c car guitar amps snowboards s10 rims and tires car audio anything really let me know.

yeah never mind on the aircraft stripper i just tried it on my minibike frame and it wont take it off its too tough it took it off my clutch cover on the banshee around the edge the gasket sits because it wasnt thick on it i guess but yeah get a machinests file and file it on the vin# area then get a can of clear coat or something to seal the metal.

to be on the safe side if mine was registered i would use air craft stripper it wont hurt the frame wipe it off really good afterwards and it wont take long to do.

get a peice of steel wool it wont take more than twenty minutes to get the carbon off both pistons

x2 on that use aircraft stripper on a paint brush numberous times until the powder coat comes off.

is the gear miscolored like does it have a blueish tint to it if so it is getting hot and losing its temper and just shattering are you using the correct weight oil?

ok when i started the banshee up it started running at about half throttle and the barb slides seem to be in the correct position would a cracked intake do this? and if not what else would do it?

i have a motor its bored .040 over drag ported brand new crank and bearings (not sure of crank size) would come with 2 34mm pjs cdi everything to make it run really. i want like 900 plus the ride im in ashland ohio everything is in good shape. let me know

i have an almost complete 1996 yamaha banshee project that i no longer have time for. it will come with everything except a few nuts and bolts that have been lost. the motor is bored .040 over has wiseco pistons it has a home done drag port job on the jugs and cases. brand new crank and bearings, stator, pretty much everything is new in the motor except the cases and jugs and head and tranny (but the tranny is in real good shape) in each cylinder it has 175 psi compression the bike has dual keihin 34mm pj carbs full fmf gnarley exhaust system boost bottle all you will have to do is put carbs on and put them in sync put the exhaust on plastic seat and hook the gas tank up and put a killswitch on it and you will be ready to ride. i am interested in trading this for something i can ride and maybe race once in a while will take a 250 two stroke suzuki or honda (atv) or a 500 zilla or another banshee plus some cash or a 450 but money talks you wont be dissapointed in this quad i will take 1500 for it or one of the trades above and maybe i would even throw in some cash call/text me at 419 908 5918 for pictures i can only send them through phone... i am in ashland ohio may be able to meet somewhere in ohio for a small fee. if far out of state must be picked up.

i have a set that have been ported if you know someone who can weld aluminum these would be perfect for you on the clutch cover side on a corner where the two cases come together has a corner broken off i have both the peices i would sell them for real cheap.

i just did a set of cases on my bike but i had to order 2 sets because one set was busted up because of shipping and it took me 3 months to get everything i needed to put it back together now i found a hold i dont know what goes in it can someone send me a few pictures of a motor without a clutch cover on it and the clutch installed. its a hole with two threaded bolt holes top left from the clutch basket on the side of the cases. i would appreciate it thanks.
