  1. you don't haven multiple sets of carbs laying around do? Next if you did the drilling and tapping right for your idle screws the right carb should of been drilled and tapped on the right side of the carb and on the left carb you should of drilled and tapped the left side of the carb. If foe some reason you drilled and tapped the left carb on the right side this would enplane what went wrong. Now if every thing checked so far take your slides and set them up like they would be in carbs on the bike. There should be a long skinny slot that runs from the top to the bottom of the slides and they should face to the center of the bike. on the out sides there should be a short wide ramped slot. hope this helps.
  2. I don't have a set of these but ride with 3 people who do. They are better than stock......but don't expect them to work like hid's. Rocky mt atv sells the piaa brand and they did have them in the tusk brand all so. All my riding palls have the tusk brand but I've had them both in my hands and I would buy piaa. Hope this helps! 3. Thanks man! Yup I want to mount them in the same spot yours are. Lazar stars mount with a stud and two nuts so I will add a rubber washer to both sides under the metal washers and go for it!
  4. I was looking at the mounts I have now and they are all metal and rigid mounted so I don't think vibration is a worry. Will moving the lights out and back screw with there performance any???
  5. I have a set of laser star headlights that are on stock location mounts now but I would like to mount them to the upper front fender stays. Will this affect the performance of the lights, and will my bulbs tend to burn out fast due to more vibrations?
  6. Any one ever thought of using a Honda thumb throttle? Me and my brother were looking at his trx and other that if the threaded I don't see a draw back, There smaller in size so you can play with were you mount it(closer or further from the grip) they do seem to have a more comfy thumb bar and (I'm not sure) but they seem to have a better mechanical advantage.
  7. I'm with big red here, most likely wont be able to tell. Do you mind me asking why you went with a 10" rim?
  8. 40:1 klotz R-50. I beat my bike it the sand and it loves me for it.
  9. Ok I'm running 14-44 gearing on my bike right now and I love it but the skid plate wont fit fer $hit. Now I have all ways been told taking a tooth off the front is like adding 3 in the back. So I should be able to run a 13-41 set up and nothing should change but maybe I'll wear out chains a bit quicker and my skider should fit right?
  10. K i will argue this one till the day I die. If you pull the core out of your silencer and take a look it's a straight threw shot so the packing will not do a damn thing for back pressure. Think of it this way if necking it down from that big apple bottom of a bell on the front of the pipes to that little itty bitty pipe that runs out the back dose not ful fill your back pressure needs that hunk of rolled up fiberglass aint going to help you in the least lil bit! The only draw backs I can see to running with out your packing is A: it's loud( I don't think buy much but that's me) B: with out the packing you have a tube with holes punched in it running threw a larger tube that creates a chamber wear exhaust can get lost and bounce around creating turbulence. That will affect flow of the exhaust just like a some thing odd shaped in the intake path will affect your intake charge. To what extent this all works I have no idea( I don't have a flow bench to find out) and your mileage may very!
  11. Some were posted in all most all machine/speed shops it reads: SPEED COSTS MONEY. HOW FAST YOU WANA GO?
  12. Rule of thumb dude: If it's making bad sounding noises, look for carnage!
  13. I think he is asking how to hop up his ride. Sounds to me like he has a banshee and is marketed in his country under name, looks like he has picked up some v force reeds and is wanting a chariot cool head and wants to know what size domes to run. ( god i hope that translates well!) We need to know the octane of the fuel you run and at what elevation you ride at! And then we can give what cc of domes to buy with your cool head.
  14. I'm looking for a swing arm skid plate that will let me run a 44 tooth rear sprocket. Can any one point me in the right direction?
  15. well if you look at the sides of the cylinders they are kinda beat up. in the next pic it looks like the cylinder was dropped on the left top side. and it looks like some thing green was leaking here a bunch.
  16. he said he gave a 1000 for it but looking at it some I think he got took
  17. well were hoping to build a spare dune bike out of it. The guy he bought it from claims it was running on the sauce (alcohol). so first thing will be to find out what cc of the domes are and get it set back up for 91 and see if the pwk's that came with the motor are really set up for alcohol.
  18. not sure what happened here it turned in to a double post the other one works can some one trash this please!
  19. The six bolt reeds are some strange stuff looks like a sled motor!

  21. Ok a buddy of mine picked this motor up used and has no idea what it is and I have no clue what cylinders these are!
