  1. I'm glad the rain held out for the most part. I just wasnt going to make a six hour drive and not be able to really ride, since I'm running pods and from the looks of the vids from Busco that place can be pretty muddy and wet. Me and everyone in my group are definitely cruising down in a few weeks or so to check it out. The weekend of June 24th is no good for us though, my son is being deployed to the stan. He will be coming home on that weekend for ten days before he leaves for deployment. I cant wait to see pics and vids.
  2. I personally had Jeff @ fast do my porting work and all I can say is wow. It really woke things up, but any of the builders who sponsor the site will hook you up
  3. You should be able to pick some up from ebay pretty cheap. And as far as the brakes, the yfz450 calipers are dual piston as where a shee caliper is only single piston.
  4. Well in case of rain where is the closest strip club at ? I might have to go check out the local talent.
  5. I'm gonna try and leave thurs. but most likely I wont be able to get out until fri morn. early. How about every one else?
  6. If your using the yfz spindles it shouldnt be a problem, but with the shee spindles I could see where this could happen.
  7. Can I ask what does this have to do with ported pistons?
  8. Sounds like its just the bushings. Cheap and easy fix
  9. Do you have a kit price on them with serval timing ? They look pretty bad ass
  10. If thats a black rad cover and its in real good condition I'll take it give me a price shipped to 21060
  11. No you wont have any temp problems. The stock cooling system on a shee does a good job and will handle way more mods then your planning on throwing at it. A lot of times when someone has overheating issues it's caused by a lean condition which means you need to bump up the jet size a little, or having your timing to far advanced can also cause you to overheat. But as long as you dont go to far above 4 or 5 degrees advanced on the timing you'll be fine on a trail bike.
  12. Every thing should be fine with that setup. Higher elevations just means air is thinner thus smaller jets, it wont change your compression though as said earlier.
  13. Nice and clean I like it. I'll have to get some pics of my stang up on here as soon as the engine goes back in it
  14. Cant wait I hope we have a good turn out
  15. In living color was one of the funniest shows on TV. Whenever get a chance I watch the reruns
  16. X2 on this one
  17. Un fucking believable !!!!!!!!!!
  18. Are these still available ?
  19. X2 on the G Force from RMATV its only $35 more but at least you know what your getting. Heres the link G Force
  20. Yea what they said^^^^^^
  21. If money is not an object I would buy a cool head and domes over having your stocker cut and rechambered.
  22. If you are just riding super tight trails, TT or MX I could agree with the shortened swinger, but if your trying to do any hillclimbing that shortened swinger sucks balls. I've been running a +4 for about 5 years now and most of if not all of my riding is trails and fire road type shit. I will admit it takes a little getting use to but once you get adjusted to it a +4 cant be beat. Also if your going to do any drag racing that shortened swinger aint going to get you off the line to quick without almost putting you on your ass.
  23. I know a lot of the guys are downing this, But I'm running a yfz front end and it's a shit ton better then my shee was with stock shit on it. I used the complete front end including spindles and 2009 450r shocks. I think a lot of guys are having problems because of using the shee spindles instead of the yfz spindles. All in all this setup cost me 300 including the shocks that had no ride time at all, if you compare that to over a grand for a +2+1 front end and shocks it's a no brainer. So in my opinion if you just ride for recreation it's a good setup well its better then the shees stock shit thats for sure. And by the way the yfz calipers will work fine with the shees rezzi, I've been running mine like that for a year now with no issues. Just my .02
  24. Probably just rust. I've come across this a few times. I sprayed the fuck out of it with liquid wrench, put the nut that holds the rear hub on so that the axle is not sticking out and tap the nut with a hammer. Just dont hit to hard or you'll fuck up the nut or the end of he axle. Good luck with it
