  1. OK she is finally back together. Starts first-second kick. Wheelie machine but havent been able to open her up yet...hasnt been warm enough. Everything seems to be working revs up good and the pipes are really different compared to my buddys who has the FMF. Ready for the warm weather...oh wait I live in MI and its suppose to snow yet tonight.
  2. Size 13wide here, I plan on riding a lot of mud so my old Cat steel toe boots should work just fine. Last year I was riding my buddys shee with my teenies and will never do that again, went to shift and foot hit a stump and wel ya didnt feel the best.
  3. I know in the summer time in Greenville at Nelsons Speed shop they have a huge snowmobile swap meet and sometime find summer toys also, Hasting has a bigger one in the fall but I was wondering do they have swap meets for quads? I know at the snowmobile shows they will have like snowX (on real snow in August) and drag races and anyone can buy a spot to have there own booth. I just never hear of anyting like that going on for the other recreational vehicles?
  4. I'm in and my buddy I know he will go hes another banshee owner (not on the site). We have never been to silver lake...Can you rent paddle tires? Shouldnt be to far me, coming from Sparta?
  5. I got to ride one of those 800's and almost bought one this past summer, but anyways its a nice all around quad but it is heavy and it doesnt have the torque pull of a shee. The push button on the fly 4x4 was awesome.
  6. So does this mean we are all not family now?
  7. I cant get this rap out of my head...hows the beat go????
  8. Well if you add Monster Stickers thats at least a 5hp gain...

  10. I was getting worried cause some hoodlems/kids in this area have been steeling mail that comes UPS or in a box or anything that doesnt fit in the mail box.We usually get our mail in the morning and I dont get home til darkish. Thats why no big deal.
  11. Well, this is not normal. I will gladly fix the problem. I had one of the shop hands take it off the bike and ship it to you. To make up for it, I can ship you another caliper, and ill include an aluminum parking brake block off kit for free for the troubles. let me know again, I am sorry for the problems, I wish I would have taken care of it myself.... Ray I will purchase from Ray again in the future, I got sent some parts that was not that very good and this is what he is going to do to fix it. Happy customer = free advertisement = more customers.
  12. I was not complaining about the shipping date, he told me from the first day I talked to him on the phone that it would 5days after he cashed the check and I believe he even sent it out a few days before that.

  14. Well I would hope so, your Wildcat is a 700, I have a stock 600 oh and just wondering was that your top speed???LIke I said it was in 660' not balls out across a field or lake for a mile. No that wasnt the dreamometer that was GPS. The owner of the GPS had a ZR900 that was all moded and he only did 108 in 660 feet. Its all about being quick not fast for me.
  15. Ray Vansteenkiste with MotorCity ATV I finally recieve my order yesterday in the mail. After sending you a check on 2/23/09 I started to get a little worried but my parts finally got here last night. I would like to start off by saying the pair of rear hubs fit and look great...but when I got done putting on my tires I decided to move on the the rear brake caliper that I ordered as well. What first came to my attention is that I recieved the caliper with only the brake line, no pads (which I thought to myself ok no big deal on that just use my old ones) but no bolt pins to hold the pads, no mounting bolts to attach the caliper to the bike, one of the bolts that holds the parking brake assembly together was in bad shape but I was able to get that off. So I quicky went down to the local Yamaha dealer and purchased the two brake pad bolts pins (=$12) and got back home trying to mount the caliper on the bike. OH I see the mounting plate that is suppose to move a little needs to be loosened, so looking at that bolt it is completey striped out. Looks like someone at one point took pliers to it after stripping the allen head out. NO way that is coming out nor being loosened. So now I am stuck with a brake caliper that I spent $80 on, OH wait when I talked to you on the phone 2/23/09 at 11:35am and I originally wanted the $75 caliper (that was on ebay through your company) but you told me to get the $80 one because it comes with the entire assembly, "You wont even have to bleed the brakes, just take the other on off and pop this one on and your ready to go" meaning lines, fluid holder and even the mounting bolts. The reason I ordered a rear caliper is because most of the bolts on the caliper that I already have are stripped out, meaning I was looking forward to recieving the new/used parts as an "ASSEMBLY" like you told me I would be recieving. If I would have know this is what $80 was going to get me then I would have just spent another 40 and ordered a brand new one from Yamaha. I would like to know what your thoughts are and is this what all MotorCity ATV customers have to looke forward to??? If you would like I can have pictures tonight, to frustrated last night. Kirt
  16. I have grown up on sleds my whole life and this past winter I purchased my first quad and of course its a Banshee. Why???? To be perfectly honest I have ridden other 660's,700s,350s, quads and honestly nothing compairs to my sled, if I am going to buy a toy it better be able to move. My sled will hit 101mph in 660' (GPSed on Hess Lake, MI), thats pretty good for a 600 twin. So my point is I bought a shee cause I knew that will meet my needs of the need for speed. I also love pulling up to guys on the trails or open fields and they have there 700, 800, or even 900's and you give them a run for there money or even beat them with a smaller toy. When you pull up with a Banshee everyone knows that you aint messin around...and is thinking OH SHIT!!!
  17. So did you race yet? Cause I already know the vertic...This past fall my neighbor let me race his 06 Shee with pipes and rev box, and a few other goodies against his 05 5.7 Hemi truck..................................we both knew that out of the whole was no competition for the banshee so we started at 25mph, I was right next to him up to about 60ish and then the 300 some hp truck really kicks in. Once he hit 75 he was gone, shee only toped out at 80-85ish. Good luck. Cheers
  18. OK guys thanks for the info, I didnt have time to work on the bike this weekend, only a high of 5 on sat. and maybe 2 yesterday. I will try and get some pics of the ends. As far as the brakes I have been letting gravity do its thing but I believe I will fill each caliper and start from there. Probly last weekend of snowmobiling for me this coming weekend so spring should be right around the corner.
  19. They have no name on them what so ever, and I noticed last night that they are really thin. SO new question...I had the front brakes apart all winter and put new pads on, so all the brake fluid was out. I put the entire front end together and trying to bleed the front brakes and having a hell of a time. The book says to fill it with the fluid, use a tube or hose to bleed out the brakes one sqeeze at a time. With the other end in the bottle of fluid. It should start to fill the hoses with fluid which it did on the right hand side and I could see little air bubbles coming out, so I go over to the left side and nothing. No fluid coming out, no air bubbles nothing. Yet I open up the right and fluid comes out. So the brake lever has all play in it. So last night I opened both sides just a little to let gravity do it job and see what happens tonight. Is there anything I am missing, when I picked up the bike the front brakes worked fine, now I feel that something might be blocking the lines or something but nothing could have gotten in there...I am at a total loss????
