  1. How much for the pipes with silencers shipped to 49345?
  2. I would give him 7500 and tell him to keep the front bumper, lol
  3. ^ lol I saw this on a snowmobile forum also, funny stuff...you should use Sea Foam.
  4. Arent those domes interchangeable? One day run 22cc for trails and then next day (if you have another set) pop in the 18cc or so and go back and forth? Obviously changing the fuel also?
  5. The Vitos Piston Kit was well worth the money. ^ I dont have the exhaust ported but the pistons come with a cut in the top of the piston to act like a port job.
  6. I would say thats a hell of a deal and if the wifey gets mad you have a new place to stay...on wheels
  7. Nice looking bike, welcome
  8. Saving life,ya... but you can resleave it after you go .100 over. Not really to worried. I dont race it, I dont ride it everyday. I mainly ride it around the neighborhood and take it out on the trails like once or twice/month. I hope I get 3years out of it, but thats why I'll just keep an eye on it and come this fall open it back up and take a look inside. Parts are cheap for this toy...way cheaper then the sleds. I really didnt want to go to the .40 over at first but its only a mm difference. And the walls are a little thinner so I'll just have to remember it could overheat faster now. Oh and Vitos pistons are from Wiesco, and the piston kit from Wiesco was more $.
  9. Last week I found out that everything was stock and my father-in-law suggested only going .10 over, but he also wanted me to use OEM parts. I just told him not to worry about the parts ans I'll just let him know how much to bore. I called Vitos and tried ordering the Super Stock Piston kit for .20 over, they where out of stock and could take a month'n half to get some more in. But they had the Super Stock kit with the .40 over bore on sale, so thats what I got plus a jet kit all for the price I was going to spend on just the .20 kit. I ordered the kit last Friday and was on my door step on Monday, very good people to work with. I finally had some time yesterday to start working on putting the shee back together, my buddy and I started at 4:00 and I was doing test rides by 6:30 and thats even including a bath for her. All I can say is WOW I was impressed. So worth the money, sounds a little meaner also. Now when the power band kicks in you know it. Changed the needle, jumped up one size in the main jet from a 320 to 330's, might have to turn the air srew just a little more. Bottom end is just a little rich but I would rather have it rich during break in then slowly lean it up.
  10. I am in the process of rebuilding my topend myself and am thinking of getting the Vitos Super Stock Piston kit. Cant wait.
  11. So no problems then? Was it worth the money? Notice any difference comparied to OEM parts?
  12. I will keep that in mind, thanks for the info. Anyone else?
  13. WOW and this whole time I thought it was just crazy snowmobilers that run from the police and run down 25 deer on the trail and sloter 35 ducks on open water...I guess there are truly idiots in every bunch. People like that give the sport a bad name. This past winter in MN the local boys in blue where looking for a snowmobiler that had run down 25 +/- deer right on the state trail and slotered them. Even tide one up to a tree, put the sled ontop of the deer and used the studs in the track to sread the shit out of the animal. So that trail got closed down. Another sledder just north of me had the cops chasing him on his sled doing about 75-80 right down the middle of the road (bear road no snow) and couldnt catch him until he kissed a sign. So now because of that trying to ride up there is getting harder and harder. just my 2cents
  14. I have heard of those but I thought they were just the foams on the outside of the carbs? I almost got those for one of my sleds but this is must be different?
  15. So Sat. came around and went to try and start the shee and wouldnt start. So after taken everything apart and checking all electrical still nothing. So the only left was to see inside the engine. Took the head off and the top of the pistons looked ok. I noticed a lot of slop/play in the piston, a lot of movement. So after studing for sometime I noticed a little of the coolant got on top of the piston, so I was moving the piston up and down and could notice air bubbles coming up inbetween the piston and the walls. Cant have compression with air coming through. So time to take it down to father-in-laws and have him bored out. The side walls had no more cross hatches that you could see.Nothing looked like it came off nor big dents or scratches anywhere. Once I find out if it was stock or not I can then order a new topend kit. I found Vitos Super Stock Piston kit and wanted to know the good and bad about these or anything else out there that anyone can suggest looking into? Vitos claims mid to top rpm power increase 8+ hp. I know I will have to rejet but does anyone know if I will have to change my fuel/oil ratio? I am runnning Klotz 32:1. Thanks.
  16. Its funny you said that cause thats how I am...we had some of the neighborhood kids running around ringing peoples door bells and mess with there shit so one night I had it so when the kids just got done ringing my door bell I wipped open the door and jumped out with my 12ga semi-auto 3.5" barrow and told them "you are messin with the wrong mother fucker." Where I come from you catch someone steeling your stuff we would have tide them up and pulled them behind the truck down the road. I dont stand for that steeling shit. Pisses me off. My buddy who got me into the Banshee had his shee and wifes Raptor 350 stolden one night. We found the shee just sitting right in the middle of the road. We figured that they pushed the quads for some time away from the house and tried starting it and couldnt so left it and took off on the Raptor. About a month later after no help from the boys in blue we got an inside tip where the bike was. So we hoped in the truk and took a ride pulled up the drive way like I owned the place and went right to the garage, wiped open the door and sure shit there it was.We checked the numbers, it match so put it in the truck and took off. It was 2 15year old kids. The parents of the one boy thought he went out and paid for it and as we where loading it on the truck I guess the kid had a deal made with someone else to sell it that night.
  17. Good to see another from MI, heading to Newaygo myslef tomorrow. Welcome....
  18. A lot of Banshees on craigslist in MI for sale...
  19. ^the HD's are they a 6 ply? I am wondering about the GNCC or HD myself.
  20. Slingshot lockup...you can have 0 balls or 66 balls. Mainly for the drag banshees with lots of ponies. We added it to my buddies cause he weighs a little bit more then I do and he kept burning out his clutch cause of the way he rides. Now it slams into each gear and whats really nice is that it feels like you dont have to grab the clutch all the way down to the handle bars, it grabs like maybe 1/4-1/8. Really nice for draging and trail riding.
  21. Funny just did my buddies last night and added this little addition...well worth the money. My clutch needs to be replaced so I know what I am going to get...
  22. LOL funny you mention this cause this past winter during a snowmobile ride we stoped at a local bar and one guy was in there claiming he works for Factory Yamaha and the new Nitro (4 stroke snowmobile) will be sharing that engine with the new Banshee that is suppose to be coming out. Dont know if he knew what he was talking or all BS.
