Thanks for the info, I am kinda tore between the PT mids and pro circuit pipes. My motor is pretty much stock with no port work yet and running a Trinity 2-1 35mm setup, cool head with 22cc domes and +4 timeing.

I am looking to get me a new set of pipes that are geared more for low to mid for trail rideing. Are the PT mids still being manufactured?

I used high temp black RTV on my intake & base gaskets and Yamabond on my case. Threebond is also good for the case not sure about useing it on any other gaskets.

Takes a 32mm socket, make sure you buy a new lock washer also. Should be able to get it at your local Yamaha dealer.

Have you tried swapping plug wires? If not put the left wire on the right side and vise versa and see if the problem follows the wire(make sure you put some new plugs in also), if so it is probably your plug cap. If this don't solve it you have other problems.

I will give those carbon tech reeds a shot, I am running Boyesen power reeds on my stock cages now. Thanks for the help!

Got another coil today and runs much better without a bog. Now I just need to pick up a good set of pro circuit pipes and I should be good to go.

Not yet, got a new coil on the way so hopefully that will get it goin. I didn't get any reading on testing from cap to cap or cap to ground.

First off here is my specs: 89 shee Pro Design cool head with 22cc. domes stock bore and stroke with no port work FMF fatty pipes( I know wrong pipes ) Trinity 2-1 PWK 35 with no air box, 200 main, 42 pilot, DEK needle +4 timing 1350 ASL 85 degrees 40/1 Klotz supertechniplate with 91 octane pump gas http://www.flickr.com/photos/15592546@N08/3599436136/ Now my problem, I have a bog just off idle that I just cannot get rid of. I have tried needles DEK, EEJ and EEK, mains I have tried are 190 on up to 200, and pilots 38 up to 52. It runs best with 200 main DEK needle and 42 pilot and the plug chop is the one I posted. I just went through this motor and replaced almost everything inside and out, I did a leak down test and it held for over 6 minutes with no leak. It did the same thing with the dual stock carbs before I rebuilt the motor so I am wondering if it may be my coil or CDI? I checked the stator and it checked out ok. Coil reading between the two wire connections is 0.3 ohms. Thoughts?

I have a gas cap that has been gutted and tried it on my stock shee, would this cause it to get too much fuel? I am running a 2 in 1 setup 35 PWK no port work and stock stroke.

In the picture of the top of the slide, looking at the center there is a slot in the left side of it and the cable rests up against it and should hook into the bottom of that part. That is how my pwk 35 is anyway.

It is rubbing to the point that when I slow down it makes a squeeling noise and the rotor gets smokin hot! I think I am gonna take it apart like you said and clean it up real good. I just got it all put back together after replacing the axle and also put a different hub and rotor on it cause I couldn't get the one off the other axle.

I am having problems with my rear brake pads rubbing the rotor all the time, is it time to replace the caliper? Or is there something I can do to remedy the problem. It's on a '89 and looks to be the original caliper and the parking brake has been blocked off.

Is the choke tube connected between carbs? Slides in the correct carb? Bowls on correct carb? Make sure your pilots are clean as it don't take much to clog them up. Take a look at your reeds and make sure you dont have a broken reed. Put a new set of plugs in it. These are things I would check.
