  1. First thing you need to do is pull the carbs (one at a time so shit don't get mixed up)and clean them real good. Inspect the insides for wore parts or clogged jets cause if it set for a period of time with fuel in it its prolly gumed up. After putting it all back together do a leak down test on it and make sure you have no air leaks.

Upper case-7.4 ft.-lbs Lower case-18 ft.-lbs Not sure how to explain the sequence but it starts with the bottom starting in the center 4 then working to the outer 4 , then on the upper bolts they should be marked on the case at least mine were. Maybe someone has a picture to help explain it better.

  6. Thought I would see if anyone is interested in doing some tradeing. I have some 4x156 rear hubs with a set of 2" spacers(per side) and bolts that I would like to trade. Looking for a good set of rear wheels for 4x115 pattern or a good set of nerf bars.

  8. I would have to agree with Jeff. I had a problem like yours and I was told by a local shop to pull the dipstick and if it blows oil out you have a bad crank seal. Or you could do a leak down test on it to be sure. Needless to say it was too late for me I had already damaged the piston.

  12. sounds like the bushings to me, order you a new set. I just did the ones on my J-arm bike and it was pretty easy.
  13. If I go to 20cc domes will I have to re-jet?
  14. Went and bought me a compression tester today at sears and here is what I got- 115 psi left and, 116 psi right on cold engine. My engine is on the stock bore and stock pistons with no port work,pro design cool head, 22cc domes, boyesen reeds,PT Mids, and 1350 above sea level. Are these acceptable numbers? Would I gain more power by going to 20cc domes?
