  1. I don't have kids... I'm too busy raising someone else's.
  2. I'm thinking of selling my bearings business. It's been great for giving me some extra income and the ability to write off riding trips and vacations but I want to get into something else and I don't have the time I used to have to spend on it. I will include the business name, all the supplier information, the website, and all logos etc. I will also sign an agreement to not compete. I made about $5000 on it last year and about $4500 the year before. The cool thing was I could use that for improvements to my banshees, go on riding trips etc and write it all off as business expense. You can even write off all maint of your banshees and riding gear as business expense. DO NOT post offers here. Email me at [email protected]@peoplepc.com
  3. I found that my FMF's behaved the same way. Try a 2:1 pipe. They can be bought pretty cheaply and the resale value is consistant.
  4. It really wasn't because you misread it. But I don't expect you to make a retraction. Yeah they would if their governments leader wasn't sleeping on the job when the planes hit. The only way to show scientifically if something works is to do a double blind test like they do with drugs. A group of people are divided up and all are given pills but some are fake. They then check the results and see how many problems are relieved in both groups. With an election where there is one elected leader, whether the loser was any better or not or would have acted in one way or another is completely up to opinion and guesswork. The only way to check the result is to do a double blind test which of course is not going to happen. So people can hypothesize all they want but the ends result is that you get what you've got. You also need to realize that voting is kind of like Tetris. As soon as there are an even number of votes for the candidates, they cancel each other out. So it doesn't matter how many people vote, it matters who breaks the tie. In addition to that, the electoral college has the last word which out and out cancels the votes because Gore did in fact have more of the votes. There are still 1000 votes being contested in the Florida count which represents 17/1000 of 1% of the votes cast. Those 1000 votes are well below the error margin. Any single vote is completely insignificant. Since no one person can be said to make the initial vote to put a person on the ballot and no one person will ever cast a deciding vote and since all votes of equal amount cancel each other out and the votes for the losing party have no effect and there is an error margin of thousands and thousands of votes in each state and because the elected person will at best only do some of the things you elected him/her to do, in reality any persons vote is only worth the value that that person attributes to it. For some of you, that value is very great. And like I said before, if that does something for you, then I'm happy for you. Some people collect paperclips and see a value in that. Others don't. For me, voting is a complete waste of time and energy that has no significant end result... useless. Yep, you can be an illiterate, corrupt, sellout, puppet and still become president. Just like everything else in this country... all you need is the money.
  5. I was thinking of simply making a spacer to add on to the frame and use the A arms the way they are but space them what ever distance you wanted. The problem with that is all the fabrication and you would still need longer tie rods {which you will need no matter what}. The advantage is the steering would not be effected like wheel spacers, you can always get a set of used stock A arms pretty cheap if something happens and you wouldn't need new shocks because the actual A arm is the same.
  6. Send me an email and I can walk you thru it. I also give HQ members a break on the cost [email protected]
  7. You even sound like Bush... you misread the "intel", made up your mind on it's importance and what it really meant, and refused to re-read it when you had the chance. America really is a great place where anyone can grow up to be president. You should run for office in 4 years. With your comprehensive skills you'd make a great president. Then maybe you'll realize that only 3 votes in any election make any difference. The first vote for any one of the two major candidates and the one that breaks the tie.
  8. Re-read my posts and see if you can sputter out a sentence that remotely coresponds to what I said.
  9. So if you didn't put him in, you can't be held responsible. And like I said before the votes had voted this stuff down but they went ahead anyway. And regardless of why the liner leaked, it leaked. And if was leaking into your well or your yard and you couldn't sell your house for half of what you paid for it, it would be abig deal then.
  10. Go into the for sale section at the bottom of the main forum page and click new topic and then attach a pic of what you want to sell. The pic has to be less than 50K I think.
  11. I know there are alot of people who have access to some really nice health options. Unfortunately that's not the case for everyone. My mother in law has MS which struck her about 3 months after their house burned down. She collapsed on the floor and began to flop like a fish. I thought she was dying. As it turns out, because my father in law is self employed, he cannot afford the insurance that pay for all those really nice places. The best he can do is slide her in and out of the car and take her out once in a while. Some days she can't even get out of bed. She doesn't qualify for assistance because she was a stay at home mom for years and isn't quite cripled enough. What about her? If fitty cent is the problem why don't you whisper in lil geo's ear to put a hit out on him. After all the constant decline in school grades over the last 20 years are due to fitty cent. Maybe we can come up with some 911 grade "intel" and imply fitty cent and we can send in a whole battalion of soldiers. Chances are he's got some weapons or something. Heck Big bush should have rubbed out fitty cent when he was about 4 as a pre-emptive strike. Truth of the matter is that alot of the suburban schools have simlar crime stats as city schools because the parents move from the city to escape the crime and bring the little criminals with them. And if it's the parents fault, what is Bush doing to get them straightened out. Maybe he should have a 1 to 1 with some of these parents and use his own drug addicted, drunken, slut, daughters as an example for the country. Yeah that should work. And as far as mortgages go... I'm a mortgage broker and the only thing that can screw your chances of getting a mortgage is too low of an income for the house you want and/or a bad credit rating. I know you're not in Illinois but I could at least give you some ideas on how to improve your chances of getting a good rate for the home you want. Feel free to email me... [email protected] And as far as getting over it goes, I think I have gotten over it... lil bush blew it so I won't vote for him and I don't expect Kerry to do any better.
  12. Talk about salesman double talk. So you're saying the most I can expect from the most powerful man in the world who leads the richest most developed country in the world is that he has some people working on it. Hey if you buy that, then great. When I was in the corrupt corporate world, we would have meetings and take votes and all sit in a room and come to a consensus. And when we all left the room everything went back to the way it was OR somone made some broad brush change that was not agreed on. Politics is no different. They clammer to get everyone to put down their little useless thought on a ballot with a select few choices conveniently narrowed down to the biggest clowns in the circus. And then once the election is over, a few people tell you who won and then they feed you a bunch of lies and then imply that we all need to stand behind the stooge in the lead because after all we all voted. I don't want youto think that I have never voted. I used to think it was good. I voted to stop airport expansion. It wasn't a lack of votes that kept the airport going, it was a lack of money to fight a battle you can't win. I voted against having a peaker plant built in my area that is within 10 miles of 2 coal burning power plants and 1 nuke plant. There were plenty of votes but no money. And those that had more money than others, blew the money they had because the power companies had a bottomless fund. They even ignored the State Police who were stationed on the road they used for access because the road was not rated for the vehicles they were using. No biggy, the power company just paid the tickets. My parents voted to prevent a landfill from going in down the street... plenty of votes but the landfill went in and records as to what is dumped there are sealed. 25 years later they're making it a park. My uncle voted to prevent a landfill from going in a couple miles from him. Again the votes were there but the landfill went in anyway. The owners said there would be no contamination... but there is. Tell me again about how voting makes a real difference in the world and I'll tell you from experience that you are wrong. So what am I doing about it? I'm not sitting there and saying that I voted so I did my part, I'm talking to people who should have the capacity to understand that voting is nothing but a catch 22 to get the masses of this country to share ownership of the problems and pay the bills for the blunders of those in office. And in case you didn't catch it before, I am telling you now that I hold you responsible for every dereliction of duty performed by the bozo you put in office.
  13. Are those rims powder coated or anodized or painted or what?
  14. Justice is pursued? Is justice in a wheel chair with a blindfold on? Your vast experience in the local VA hospital gives you this perspective right. You know the same cripled people I know who can't get assistance because they aren't crippled enough? And your buddy rebel said that HIS tax dollars shouldn't be paying for the welfare system you say is there to help people... These are presumably the same people who went bankrupt because of the 911 attacks. I hide my ignorance with facts you won't address. I'll repeat them so you don't have to strain yourself looking for the details... And KGL I'm still challenging you to explain to this retard how it is that an opinion is worse than WAR. When your buddies went to war, you waved and said go get 'em. Was that your action? And how can you say that I have no conviction? Do you know the meaning of the word conviction? Ask your buddies on the front if an opinion is worse than war. And your friend that was killed was not killed by an opinion or lack of an opinion, he was killed by a person who was trying to kill him. People can't be opinioned to death now can they? And where did you get the attacked every month figure?
  15. TURN OVER... YOU'RE DRIVING UP SIDE DOWN
  16. I already told you what I expect from you but you didn't understand. One more time... I expect you to vote and stand behind all of the mistakes your vote represents. That's all I expect from anyone who votes. I also expect you acknowledge that there are tens of thousands of murders and sexual assaults in this country and there is no major governmental effort to stop that. I expect you to acknowledge that there are thousands of homeless, retarded, and diseased people in this country who are completely ignored by the political element of this country. I expect you to acknowledge that in spite of your belief that voting is one of the greatest things an American can do, thousands are prevented from voting each year and voter fraud is STILL a major problem in this country. I expect you to acknowledge that the educational system in this country is bad and getting worse and that such a thing is unacceptable in the richest country in the world run by the most powerful man in the world. I expect you to acknowledge that women in this country STILL make less than equally competant men. I expect you to acknowledge that this countries borders STILL allow undocumented aliens to cross and that this countries borders are STILL not secure. I expect you to acknowledge that the security system of this country FAILED to prevent the deaths of thousands of innocent people on September 11th. But until then you can keep on hoping that your vote means something and maybe you will meet the president and tell him how you helped keep this country safe by telling off some long winded jerk on line. And that he didn't know what a fine man the president really is. You can tell him how you agree that it's OK to be the most powerful man in the world, who is ruling the richest country in the world with the most advanced military ever conceived and 2 national emblems were struck by terrorists. You can brag about his great efforts here at home too and tell him great it is that there is still illiteracy, hunger and disenfranchisement in this country, his HOME COUNTRY. And I'm sure he'll believe you. And KGL explain to me again how a persons opinion is uglier than war. You cannot be serious.
  17. I ' l l s a y i t s l o w s o y o u c a n u n d e r s t a n d... Page 7, 16 posts down I said... And one of the points I've been trying to make is that each person does what they think they can do or as much as they feel like doing and that's it. You feel that voting is going to do something for you and the rest of the world and I emphatically feel the opposite. You have been nagging me from the beginning that I am not doing enough because I don't vote and now you are getting a taste of what it's like for an outsider to tell YOU that you aren't doing anything. How does it feel?
  18. Page 7, 16 posts down. Notice it was not edited in any way. I don't expect anything from you. All I ask is that you accept responsibility for the idiot you put in charge. Is your conscience bothering you?
  19. I never said I didn't know it happened, I asked you when it happened. And if that does it for you, then you've done all you can. I don't expect anything more of you than your best and apparently that's what you're doing.
  20. What gave you the idea that I didn't know about the genocide under Saddam and what issues have I skirted? You are angry but you don't know why. Could it be that you now realize you are as guilty of doing nothing to help this country as you accuse me of being? What have YOU done to make the world more secure?
  21. And in spite of all of your "my country right or wrong" rhetoric, your butt is still plainly visible above the sand.
  22. I have been to both the museum and Arlington and I have seen what happened in Europe in WW2 and I have had many family members who fought in that war. I even had an uncle {recently passed} who was sunk by a Japanese zero fighter. I have worked at the VA hospital near the Great Lakes Naval base and seen all the guys who are still living in Viet Nam who are locked up like animals because they decided to go to war. And because of that I will not go. Fireman... in spite of what you say, you are doing exactly what I said you should do. You HAVE made the decision I have made... Take care of things at home. If this countries security is on shaky ground then you would leave your grilfriend and your baby and go over and fight with your friends. As it is right now, you and I are in the same boat... taking care of things at home. And like I said before... the problems with Hitler could have been solved long before he came into rule and started his rampages which cost this and the rest of the world immense losses. Don't get me wrong!!! the ultimate sacrifice a person can make is their life. And every one of those markers mean a precious life that was lost, every one of those shoes in the museum is a life that was lost, your tatoo represents a life that was lost. And when I see that there were tens of thousands of lives lost during WW2 and we as a group are all sitting here on our computers made in Japan and in a forum celebrating our Japanese bikes that we use to entertain ourselves with, it equates to me a collossal loss of life for nothing. All of the people that I know who fought in any war, have seen nothing but corruption and wanton disregard for life on both sides of the battle. And while Brooke and KGL and Fireman sit there and tell me that I should shut my mouth because there are people dying around the world I say this to you... If they didn't die for the freedom of ALL speech then why are they there at all. You claim that the people of Iraq are now able to speak their minds but apparently you want them to have a mind like yours because you cannot even tolerate your fellow American when he says something you dislike. I would rather ride a horse, catch my own food, and sleep in a tent than see one more life lost. People in power all over the world are corrupt and Bush and his cronies are no different. I listened to his speech the other day and his casual disregard for the man who was decapitated was disgusting. This was a man who DIED not just something distasteful to see on TV. You can have faith in the leaders you elect and you can wait 20 years for them to correct the problems they create. I will have no part in it. And you and your parents who voted them into office must also bear the responsibility for their failure. Kinda hurts when someone puts the burden on you for the regime in place whether the leaders listen to you or not. But hey that what has happened since WW1 which paved the way for Hitler to make his way into power. OH well, sit there in your arm chair, look at your computer and support the troops. I'm sure that while they're getting shot at and killed they will think of you and how you supported them from the sidelines. BTW how is that support coming along... you buy a new God Bless America sticker for your Hyundai or tie a fresh yellow ribbon made in Taiwan around the tree in your front yard? Or did you do all that you could 3.5 years ago when you punched that hole in the ballot? You can rant and rave all you want about me not voting but at least I'm honest enough to tell it the way it is and I'm still standing by what I said.
  23. Meat hit the nail on the head. Why should you worry about what's going on in the neighbors basement? Mind your own business. As I see it, Brooke and KGL are arm chair warriors. We this and we that and propaganda this and propaganda that. If it means so much to you, get up off your butt's and sign up. Go to a third world country. Witness the bloodshed. Maybe you'll get your chance to be shot at or grenaded or you may even get to kill some people. Then come back and tell us how you helped the world be safer. The 9-11 attacks did not lead to bankruptcies, American greed leads to bankruptcies. I know because I deal with them all the time. I also know that there is immense poverty, lack of education, and starvation IN THIS COUNTRY. There are thousands of murders and sexual assaults in this country. I have kept a close watch on the situations around the world and know that the US is not in Iraq to help the Iraqi's. There are similar atrocities occurring all over the world. Why are the Iraqi's so important right now? Brooke I'm going to assign you a field trip and from Maine it should be do-able. Go to the Holocaust museum in DC and then go to the Arlington cemetary and look at the acres of grave markers and then go to the deep south in the US and see the people STILL living in tin shacks with no running water and then go to a third world country and see the people living in tin shacks with no running water. And you should realize your vote or your opinion means absolutely NOTHING. People suffer every day in this country as much as they do all over the world. Why should the billions of tax dollars be spent repairing what's over there when it is needed right here at home. Most of the crazy leaders in the world could have been stopped much earlier if there were earlier milder interventions including Hitler, Saddam, Bin Laden etc. But I still have no confidence that this country's leaders whoever they turn out to be, will bring a lasting peace in the middle east or even here at home for that matter.
  24. My view point is different so I'm blind. I speak English so I'm pretentious. I don't vote so I'm anti American. I disagree so I'm uneducated. I don't cuss so I'm fanatic. I'm convincing so I'm a threat. Do I at least have that right?
