I've been doing a little emailing back and forth with Jeff Robbins of JJ&A racing about an aluminum axle and as a side point he noticed that I sell Amsoil. He said he has been running 100:1 for 20+ years. When I asked him to explain he said this... Me: Him: So for those who have doubts about Amsoil or mixing at 80:1 or 100:1 here's some proof it's OK. I'm still convinced that most engine failures that are blamed on oil are really air leaks or lack of other maintenance.

I'm looking for something that's unusual and a chromed stocker just aint it. Those look tough as heck and I only ride trails and at most get 3feet of air. I got a message from JJ&A and he said they're guaranteed to last and will be replaced. The width is 38" how long is a stock axle.

I think the last set of tires I sold went for around $20 for the pair. They just aint worth that much.

I know SS is hard to machine but it can also be tempered or hardened or whatever. Titanium would also be nice but they have got to be ultra expensive and I'm just not sure I would trust aluminum on the trails.

I'm getting too lazy to keep things from getting rusty. Does anyone know of a stainless axle that can handle trails. I never do any significant amount of jumping.

All the RZ carbs I've had looked just about like the banshee carbs in bore size.

It all depends on your mods and what ratio you are comfortable with. The dealer cost for the 100:1 is only $2.30 a bottle which will mix 5 gallons at 80:1 or 6 gallons at 100:1. Send me an email and I can give you a quote on the best oil for you... [email protected]

Just getting the black paint off of all the nooks and crannys is gonna be enough to drive any half normal person insane. I did some stainless pipes that were glass blasted and it was enough to drive me nuts. I would be willing to give it a try though.

You'll need a 50 tooth rear sprocket to turn the 25's. It just aint worth it.

Does it run at all? I'd do a leakdown test and make sure that everything is sealing OK and you should be able to go ridin'

While it's running, spray down all the gasket surfaces with WD40 and see if you have any air leaks. Do a leakdown check and see if you have an air leak.
