maxxis tires with around 4-5 pounds in the rear and about 4 in the front, I run GNCC and that will get you over without being a rough ride or worring about comming off a bead if you don't have beadlocks the stock yfz tires are a great choice for trails, they hook up great, on everthing from muddy trails to sand but they wear very quickly and roll too much in turns

I always had good luck trinity. I've built a few motors using stuff from them, and if I ever had a problem, i called them, and they were on top of it. they even called back a few days later to make sure the parts came and it went together ok.Only on occasions you will call them and they seam like they are laid back and on the pot. Kinda like Spicoli from Fast times at ridgemont high. but then again, it's southern cali, and everyone is like that :biggrin: they are top notch indeed.

That banshee is Wes millers, he built it for supermoto, then he couldnt race it cause it was too fast. LOL It;s on one of the Huveous videos too. I talked to Wes about that banshee when he was out filming the Penn. GNCC race, he told me it was apart and didnt know when he would put it back together, and said people were scared of it, LOL that was last year

this is my yfz on a factory dyno, I have a sparks full exhaust, 2 stage filter with holes in the air box and running 100 octane Klotz on a dyno jet I would be around 50

factory dynos show less than dyno jets,, same set up is in the 80s on a dyno jet

too many people worry about dyno #s too m8ch, I got 86hp, ohh ive got 100, blah blah every dyno reads different, you should use a dyno for tunning., my 421 cheetah banshee got up to 70hp on a factory dyno, if i put that on a dyno jet, i'm sure it would be in the 80s at least but who gives a shit, morons are the ones who NEED to brag about high hp #s I'll worry about a dyno, when it passes me on the track

I got a one year subscription to dirt wheels back in 1984 from my mom for a birthday present, and ive kept it since then, kinda like sentimental reasons more than liking the mag, but they do have a good article once in a while, seams they cater to the people that place ads in the mag but it does make good reading while on the shitter :biggrin:
